While the theme of this place is to depict medieval times & perhaps the rude customer service of that era (?? I have no proof that people from that period were this rude so unsure about the staff's act). Looking at all other comments, I...More

Definitely worth visiting, whilst in Tallinn. Was one of the highlights of our trip! Great, unusual medieval atmosphere, tasty food

We spotted this place while walking in the square of the old town in Tallinn. We were so excited to go there and have dinner and experience the ambiance of the old Nordic times BUT we had the worst experience ever. We were the first...More

This place is alright. They ran out of ribs and some pasties so we didn’t get to try everything but they do have delicious pasties. Their understanding of a pint is definitely less than a pint and the lingonberry juice was more like lingonberry flavored...More

We simply asked the waitress for the menu and she was ignoring us, although she was just standing in front of us. When she decided to talk to us she acted like she didn't understand the word 'menu' or ' food list'. She refused to...More

The menu is small, but interesting. The experience is unique. The cutlery - missing :) You can have an elk soup, pirogs with various fillings, ribs and beer...if you are handy enough you can also get free pickled cucumbers. You find my review confusing -...More

The staff is rude and I like it like it. It fits to the atmosphere. People did not wish you a nice day back then.

The behavior of the staff was horrible. You cannot handle customers like this. And the pint of beer was definitely not one pint of beer, but most likely half. The prices are not written out, so you have no idea what is how much. It was...More

The food is good, but you can see on the staff, that she hates to do this. Fortunatelly we could sit down outside. Inside is so dark, that i wouldnt stay there. The ceramic plates are broken.

The restaurant is dark, only candles light the rooms a little bit. Medieval music adds to the athmosphere. Food has to be bought at the bar. The menu only offers rib, elk-soup, bread, beer and some juice. Hands have to be used to compensate the...More

I doubt that, as they didn't know about gluten in 1453. But it's more of a place where you go for a quick lunch, so it won't take long to figure that out. They got soup (mostly meat, you gotta ask), pies (like a shepherd's... More

Located under the 12th Century Raekoda (Town Hall) building in the main square of Old Town Tallinn, Kolmas Dragon (or the Third Dragon) is a small medieval-themed tavern. This charming eatery with its beautiful-period interior is hosted daily by a group of petulant housekeepers whose job it is to entertain all-comers with their brusque and rude service manner. However this is all purely theatrical - a style that is closer to the behaviour that one would have received in the medieval ages. Specialities that are served include beef ribs, elk soup, savoury pastries, pickles from a barrel, teas, wines and the famous house beer. All those who enter should therefore be ready for not only tasty foods and beverages but also to some exceptionally entertaining service.
