Arrived with big expectations, but dinner was total disappointment. Rooms were cold, food was bad and service was below average. You can find much better Indian places in Tallinn than this one.

My wife and I sometimes buy discount vouchers via internet for different restaurants, this time Maharaja. It`s location is super, right next medieval City Hall square. Restaurant was well decorated and has nice views to square, but was cold and empty. Waiter worked fast and friendly. We ordered soup and different lamb dishes. They were tasty, Portions were not big... More
Coming in from the cold, one would expect inside of the restaurant to be warmer than minus 22 that was outside. This seemed not to be the case. Ice cold huge locations, with a small ventilator in the middle of the room to serve as only heat source that didn't even work. We ordered coffee which took about 10 to... More
Customer service was good and fast but everything else was bad. Samosas were really dry and weird. Chicken was discusting, and there were bones in the sauce. Dessert was alao weird. Even rice was not good. Lamb was good. I cant recommend Maharaja to anyone.
After traveling for almost 15 days, an Indian does get some water in his/her mouth upon seeing an Indian restaurant in not so expected city, Tallinn. The restaurant is very well located, right in the Old town square and clearly visible is its name 'MAHARAJA'. Well to start with, on the service art, its pretty good on that. The food... More
We wanted to to eat tasteful and spicy food. I do not know where to start. Service was terrible, the girl who served didn't carry more than 1 and 1 thing. Drinks and food arrived a little here and there. She didn't even walk fast. Food was tasteless, not very fresh and the sauces for papadums on our table was... More
The food was ok I had veg pakora which was better than most in the region but the vindaloo was very salty and not at all a spicy as I wanted even though I asked for very spicy ( I never understand when an Indian restaurant asks how you want a VINDALOO ) Also they really need to sort out... More
Right in the heart of the Old Town Square. Food was good but it didn't wow us. My partner's Vindaloo was as spicy as my korma which it's odd. I cannot cope with spiciness and that Vindaloo I could eat. It was well-flavoured tho. It's a little pricey but I guess it's because of its location (like in every city)... More
