Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Enjoyed our lunch in this cool restaurant. They are focusing on high quality local products, food is very nice and I loved the presentation as well. Good wine. Staff friendly and kind. Next time I will visit Tabor I wil stay in their pension instead...of hotel Nautilius which was huge dissapointment.More

I got a recommendation from my friend to visit the restaurant when I am in Tabor so I had high expectations. We liked the personal care of the owner and fast solution of missing reservation. All the food and wine was with a nice story,...but the service was a bit confusing and the food was rather unbalanced in quality and taste. I hope they will improve as like the concept.More

Definitely the best selection of organic wines out of Prague and even other big cities in Europe. Amazing kitchen from local products and great wibe.

We ordered three starters (mix of fish and rather vegetable/cheese meals) which were surprisingly tasty and very nicely presented. The atmosphere of the place is nice, calm and comfy...it feels rather small but it makes it even more "family like". Wine was also very good...and at the end we even got a special japanese vinegar to taste :).More

Had a great meal at this place. The owner took care of us personally. What a great little place to be part of the family. Loved the pork and fresh bread!!! I will definitely be back.

Small, modern, stylish restaurant with fast and kind service (all multilingual), splendid international cuisine with Czech variety and tasteful local beer. A bit posh but no harm done. Wine selection also regarded highly. The pricing is a bit higher but fully justified. Such restaurant would...fit to any large West European city with no problem.More

I really wish I could give them 5* review. Came here sort of hoping for the burgers like advertised on the big screen TV in the town, they were serving dim sums, meet pockets and pretty dry chicken wings. The wine and service was mediocre....The interier is nice and the restaurant was pretty full.More

We visited Tabor specifically to spend a night at Thir as we are currently planning to open our own guesthouse in northern Bohemia and are finalizing its future concept. The place did not disappoint, both in terms of accommodation and the natural wines we got...to taste at the bar downstairs. We really enjoyed talking to the bar owner, he definitely knows a thing or two about natutal wine and is passionate about what he does. The location of Thir is also excellent, right off the main square. The parking on the main square is free overnight which was all we needed for our short trip. Highly recommended.More

We bumped into this place by total fluke, seeking a light dinner and drinks - we got both. Ended up having several glasses of wine accompanied by homemade pasta, burger and selection of local cheeses and charcuterie. The food was very good, exactly what we...wanted. We left the selection of wine up to the "barman/waiter/sommelier" - we were not disappointed. We sampled several excellent local wines (Slovak, Czech, Hungarian and Austrian) and left very happy. The ambience is very laid back, perfect for Friday night "chillaxing". Service didn't feel like 'service' at all - very warm friendly and helpful.More

Awesome burgers, however not available every day, mainly on Friday evenings. And delicious wine, which is natural and everyone should try it. I am not the biggest fan of natural wine, but from time to time, it is a nice change.

We stayed for two nights at Tabor and chose Jan Culik's hospitality. We were pleasantly surprised by wide offer of authentic (especially orange) wines from unique wineries all around Europe, local cheese and yogurt, specialty coffee or Japanese green teas. Jan's dedication to quality ingredients...in the kitchen was beyond our expectation and helped us enjoy our stay in this beautiful and romantic city.More

We loved the spirit of the place with wooden tables and a play corned made of a large wine cask in the next room. We were told the dishes are made of local materials. It tasted great. We will come back next time we visit...for a glass of wine and some cheese :-).More
