Absolutely outstanding delivery this evening. Chicken spring rolls were huge, piping hot and crispy with a delicious chilli garlic dip. The meatiest chicken satay skewers we’ve ever had and the Thai green curry was an absolute burst of flavours, textures and happiness that was appreciated by all.

Wonderful

Went after the first lockdown . We were really impressed with how attentive the staff were whilst always feeling safe with regards to social distancing etc . Food was amazing (we had the 3 starters and main option which is wonderful value) and our 8 year old daughter ate the duck in tamarind sauce . They had no problem putting the sauce on the side for her . Deep fried Ice cream finished off a wonderful meal and experience

Great value food and good service

We ordered a takeaway from here and the food was really good value and the service was excellent. There was one dish missing due to a mix up but this was really quickly rectified. The food was good but not amazing but I would happily order from there again.

Not rushing back

I've just visited for dinner with a friend. Ordered the sweetcorn fritters for starter, they came quick but we're more like deep fried flour cakes with a few pieces of sweetcorn in, not very pleasant to eat. Main course was lovely, large portions so I ate just less than half, asked for the rest to be boxed up so I could take home & was informed 10 minutes later that it had been thrown in the bin. The girl was very apologetic but no offer to take anything off the bill just a sorry. We were not asked if the food was OK at any stage & we didn't get offered any more drinks. The staff seemed like they didn't want to be there at all, we even had to get up to ask for the bill as no one came anywhere near our table. Not a great impression for my first visit I certainly won't be rushing back.

Screaming heard by one staff member to another

I have been here many times and I am usually very complimentary of the restaurant naming it my favourite. However when I came on Saturday the 8th feb 25. I was met with the sound screaming coming from one of the staff at one of the younger staff members which clearly left them in a state of upset. I am unsure of what went on however I think that there needs to be a serious look into why one staff member would be so verbally aggressive to another staff member when knowing that it is able to be heard by paying customers. I am utterly disgusted in this behaviour and hope something can be done!

A great takeaway

Last night, myself and my husband went out for a date night. It was easily the best prawn toast that I had ever tasted. It was so thick too! The Pad Thai was bursting through with flavour and lovely too. We both agreed through.... We wouldn't come back to the restaurant. The reason was that I felt far too cramped where we were sat. We asked to move and couldn't as they were busy, completely understandable. People were always going past, bumping into the chairs - it just didn't feel like an "intimate" meal. I also don't really agree with paying over £3 for a coke when it's been poured from a supermarket bottle. I know a few places do it, but with food that is amazing, it just makes it a bit odd. It's definitely a perfect takeaway place 🫶

This is one of the best restaurants my wife and i have ever been in. All the food is cooked to order so if you want more or less chilli its not a problem, the food we ordered last night (October 21 2020) was quite simply amazing, we had a mixed starter which included chicken satay with a beautiful peanut sauce, chicken thighs wrapped in pandan leaves, spring rolls, a sweet but spicy dipping sauce as well as prawn toast and im not joking when i say the prawn must have been 1cm thick. For our main we ordered the prawn pad thai, this is one of our favorite dishes, as we have had it before as a take away, we were recomended the duck in a sweet sticky tamarind sauce and we were not dissapointed it was moist and beautifuly cooked. This was our first visit to Ayuthaya and wont be our last. All social distance measures are in place and was really clean.

Lovely restaurant. Covid protocols followed. Had probably one of the best Thai meals I've ever had. Selected the 3 small plates for starter, awesome beef, chicken satay and prawn toast. All very fresh piping hot and really delicious. For main beef massaman which again equally delicious. Others in our group had pad Thai, drunken noodles (which they were happy to tailor to my daughters taste) and egg fried rice. Everyone loved the food. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Lovely little takeaway & restaurant ⭐️

Really enjoyed the food we ordered from here. The takeaway food was tasty, fresh and will be definitely visiting the restaurant in the next coming weeks. Nothing was too much trouble and orders were talked through with enthusiasm and genuine love for their food. I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant and wanted to ask about some dishes before we ordered. Everything was great.

Ayuthaya Thai restaurant Crosby

I ate at Ayuthaya last night with my husband for the first time. I have to say that this place is amazing. I’ve not had such good food in a restaurant for a long time. The staff are friendly but not over attentive, the food was so tasty and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back again

Would try again…..

I live locally but never tried this Thai restaurant before, so thought why not give it a try. Interior was very nice, warm, inviting and cosy, all young staff, but all very polite and helpful. We ordered from option 1 and 2 to share which was enough for us, but, although tasty, some of the food was definitely just warmed up and not very hot, which was a bit disappointing and also served on cold plates which didn’t help. I may visit again and try something different.

Service not up to standard

Been here a lot and always enjoy the food but I’ve noticed over time that the service isn’t great- abrupt & unfriendly. Last time we visited we were told by the manager there was an offer on the beer, we decided to order this with the waitress who told us the offer wasn’t on??? Our bill was also incorrect- overcharged by 3 drinks we didn’t have. Food was ok, but expensive for what it is. Will no longer go back to this restaurant or recommend.

Always get a great fresh meal from Ayuthaya when ordering takeaway. Last night I got the spring roll jae and then the tofu vermicelli which is one of my favourite main meals off the menu! The website (Thai 2 Go) is easy to navigate, and delivery has always been within a decent timescale. Their Instagram page is really informative and interactive. I can’t fault the place and now they’ve shut, they’re relying more and more on us supporting local business. We will be ordering again very soon - thank you!

Wonderful company, tantalising food from start to finish. Really friendly and helpful staff. Patrick our server attended to our every need and gave good advice on the menu. The menu has a great selection catering for people who don’t want spice to those who like it spicy enough without blowing the taste buds away. The restaurant also puts on charity fund raising events for their patrons. Covid safety measures are in place. An all round excellent evening.

Disappointingly bland food - no colour and all very sugary

We had a dinner with friends here and were very excited to be going out to No 3 restaurant in Crosby. Although the starters tasted fresh, they all tasted the same. The main dishes were the same. Good jasmine rice but my noodles and prawn dish was very sickly sweet and I tasted very little Thai flavour in it - I love coriander and all the life and colour of Thai food but this was light grey in colour and looking at the others, theirs all looked the same. I was hungry and ate mine all up and the prawns were a good quality but it was decidedly boring and untasty and I'm a real foodie and the first one to pass a compliment. My husband felt the same. You need some colour and a bit more tang rather than so much sugar. The decorations on the plates were very pretty to be positive and the staff were fabulous. I'm being honest it wasn't worth the money.
