Calamity of a Sunday morning breakfast. Four of us dining, three got incorrect orders. Several servers, none knowing what each other was doing. To their credit, they did give us free drinks for the mess they created. Now to the food, average food with no...More

Popped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed the wonderful courtyard. Good offering of menu items from breakfast to lunch. The indoors seating is also great if the weather isn’t perfect. We had the chicken mushroom risotto. Good cheese flavor. Lacking on the fresh mushrooms...More

A gorgeous spot to sit in the sun and have a drink and bite to eat. We went for lunch and had the mussels, steak sandwich, ratatouille and burger. Everything came out together and the food was very tasty. We really enjoyed the garden setting.

Coldish day in Akaroa called for a hot soup and the Brasserie did not disappoint. Both the chowder and the risotto are highly recommended. Attentive, friendly and prompt service.

Having been in Auckland the previous five years I had forgotten the meaning of southern hospitality. Warm, gracious and attentive service, fabulous drinks and atmosphere second to none. Never fail to recommend this wee gem to friends and family! Dietary requirements were catered to without...More

Greatest ice, ambience and lovely outdoor settings. I would have loved to try their breakfast, but was short on time and it was packed (obviously everyone else knows this is a great place). Came back later in the afternoon for a quick drink. A friend...More

Really friendly wait staff. The Poached eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered 3 breakfast sides instead of something from the menu and they didn’t bat an eyelid. The cappuccino was frothy and yum and hot chocolate was delicious. We also thought this cafe was very...More

We went for a brunch here the other day and it was pretty good. The french toast and the eggs Benedict are all I can speak to but both were presented well and tasted good. They had a couple of Cassel's beers on tap and...More

Description
"The Brasserie is one of Akaroa's best restaurants. Your hosts, Carlos and Saowani invite you to step into their beautiful garden and escape the hustle and bustle outside. We have all day menu with electic and French European influence as well as Asian inspired menu. We have a wide range of boutique wines and Craft beers and All Press coffee available to compliment our Menu. The focus is on local, seasonal ingredients and there is an abundance of fresh vegetables as well as Asian and European herbs from our garden. There is also a BBQ menu to enjoy. Indoor and outdoor seating. We are open 8am till late 7 days a week, so come and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with us or just soak up the atmosphere with a drink. We also have a range of pastries and muffins to accompany our great Allpress coffee."
