Was taken here for lunch and the menu is not large but the setting is lovely. It is a bit of a journey out here to the far side of the island but well worth the effort. When you arrive it is tranquility and staff make you welcome. They used to provide a trampoline for children's use but this is... More

There's plenty of places to go on Waiheke that out-wow Passage Rock. Mud Brick, Tantalus, Church Bay etc. We are residents and we like to take our guests on the out of the way spot at Passage Rock. It's 10 minutes down a bushy country road to get there but well worth it. The dining room has a menu to... More

This was one of my favorite wineries on a tour a few times. Great insightful staff and some of my favorite wine and the extra tastings for $2 a glass is amazing a must on waiheke

We have visited this vineyard/restaurant twice in the last week. First with an elderly group and then with mid teens. The setting of Passage Rock is lovely - you are amongst a vineyard and can enjoy views from most tables. It is beautiful to walk into, but does not have a clear space to stand while waiting to be met... More

We stayed just up the road, it's a small winery with a small list I mention this because sometimes to much choice overwhelms The choices were well thought out, very tasteful, the food was delicious especially the pizzas. They catered for kids offering a trampoline archery a sandpit, ride on bikes blackboard which was just amazing. The staff were funny... More

We went to Passage Rock for a wedding so not the normal visit. It's a bit of a drive from the ferry at Matiatia but a beautiful spot once you get there. Being a wedding we had a few glasses of a nice dry bubbly and sampled a few other wines with dinner. On that note the Sisters blend of... More

A beautiful setting with wines to compliment. We arrived early and were treated to a personalised and detailed trip through all the different vintages and wine varieties. We walked out with a box of excellent wines and enjoyed every one

Absolutely wonderful afternoon at Passage Rock. The food and wine were delicious and the staff were just great all set in a beautiful surroundings. We managed to consume a food platter, salmon salad and duck salad and some excellent pizza. Unfortunately we couldn't pick a winner because it was all excellent. The Syrah and Chardonnay just divine.

A wonderful setting/venue for a group of ladies. Amazing customer service from Charity (Manager), generous platter food & pizzas. Would reccommend visiting this winery for the wine, setting and fabulous food.
