We've Never been disappointed at this wonderful location as the venue, menu and attentive staff always excel. Scallop & spanner crab entree together with lamb n duck mains were superb.

Sitting atop a high point in the island, the views are amazing from this restaurant. This was our second winery on the list and we came after lunch so it was just a little wine tasting and dessert. We had excellent cheese boards, chocolate mouse and pannacota. The creamy Brie simply melts in the mouth and the pannacota was divine.... More

Firstly for you non-Kiwis it is pronounced Te Fo! We were lucky enough to eat here last Sunday - following a challenging walk in from the public bus stop (2.2km apparently, but felt more like 10!). We sat in the cellar door area at a window with stunning views across the island and back to Auckland CBD in the distance.... More

We booked the Inflite Heli-Tour to Waiheke for lunch at Te Whau restaurant. What a great experience I recommend this trip in the MUST DO category. We had entree, main and dessert and each of the dishes were 'par excellence' for all of us.

If you are ever on Waiheke Island with an evening to spare Te Whau is the place to book a meal. If you don't have your own transport you will need a taxi, but that also means you can indulge in the wine as well as the food. 2013 "The Point" is well worth a try, especially with the meat... More

Spent some time up at Te Whau sampling their wonderful wines which were exquisite, so much so we bought some to take home. The location is elevated with amazing views across the island and Gulf. Friendly staff and excellent service. We didn't have a meal but would have to say the food being served looked amazing.

Great view, great food and great service. Had the market fish (salmon) and it was fantastic. It was a bit expensive but if you like food, wine and views, its worth it!

We enjoyed the most wonderful lunch here overlooking the sea, accompanied by Te Whau's excellent wine. Great hospitality and service too.

Delicious food. Very good wine. Gorgeous panorama. Maybe a bit expensive, but worth it. It's definitely a real gastronomic restaurant.
