AS others have said the courtyard is very attractive, service good, and food very good especially for what one finds in most Paladars in Cuba. I would not say what we had was clearly Cuban though and the dinner could have been served almost anywhere in the world. We had the combo of fish and lobster which was very good.... More

We had a really nice meal here. Exceptional lobster and wonderful friendly service. We came with a group but they handled everything well. A pretty courtyard setting, also.

We had read about this place in a travel guide book and saw that reservations were recommended. We walked to Davimart (it's a little outside of the town center) and made a reservation for later in the evening. The day we went, they weren't terribly busy, but our waitress told us that it is a good idea to make reservations... More

Wonderful setting for a meal, good Cuban food, and friendly chef. My grilled lobster was a bit on the dry side on the evening we dined here though I don't think this is customary, judging by the entree's enjoyed by other members of our group. When in Trinidad, worthwhile to include a visit to this friendly spot.

We had booked a cooking lesson as part of our trip without knowing anything about the restaurant - it turns out that this is one of the best in Trinidad. The courtyard restaurant is very nicely done with an outdoor kitchen that showcases the cooking process. Chef David showed us the cooking process of his stewed pork and we stayed... More

One of our nicest meals, though the restaurant was almost empty. It is out of the way but worth seeking out and only 10 minutes walk maximum from the centre of town. david is a great cook and the food was higher quality and more interesting than most that we ate during our two weeks. Highly recommended.

Wonderful meal here in a beautiful courtyard. Although Davi was away, his wife is also an excellent cook and she came and spoke to us with her young daughter, her charming waitress translating for us. As mentioned in other reviews, you choose your main course and then soups, salads and vegetables are set for that day. Our chocolate pudding was... More

This was the best meal we had during 10 days in Cuba. Situated near the centre of Trinidad, the tables are set in a nice courtyard. The format of the meal is set with one choosing the main course and being served salads, vegetables, soup and a dessert. The food was delicious; well prepared and nicely presented. Our entire group... More

This is a pleader run by the Marti family. Davi is the father and the chef, his beautiful daughters are your servers. The food varies depending upon availability, but all is perfectly cooked and presented.

We dined in 14 very good Paladar's (restaurants) in four different cities while touring Cuba and this was clearly the best! "Eye appeal" sets the stage and Chef/owner David Aguila's presentation clearly exhibits the time he spent in France. The quality of the food is as equally appealing as the presentation. This restaurant would be a winner in any city... More
