Service was friendly at the bar if a bit odd. The Tuna was great as was the little roll. The ceasar salad not so much, good-ish but it's a stretch to call it ceasar. White anchovies were delish though.

For a Michelin rated restaurant, it was mediocre food. Ambiance was not warm and inviting. They need to put some plants or flowers to soften up the atmosphere. Our waiter was a surly Spanish gentleman. He was sarcastically rude. We ordered 3-course meals with desserts. All dishes were average, not spectacular. Food temperature were off; food came out warm, not... More

Second time tried to go. After waiting little bite at bar, I had best food experience in years. Recomendo the wine pairing. Price is in addition to your food selection. Chocolate deserts are phenomenal. 68 Port wine outstanding. Matteo went above & beyond with the courtesy driver. Looking forward next visit soon.

The food is fantastic but the restaurant's approach to wine service is pure gouging; the markup on bottles is 3 to 4 times; we had the grand wine pairings for our 3 course menu - at more than $150 per person the wines were not grand in any sense, unusual and pleasant at the most. I have never seen a... More

The food was scrumptious! The service was terrific and the quiet dining was excellent. The restaurant was full but the environment was serene. Definitely will return here!

We met another couple here for dinner and had an amazing meal in a beautiful atmosphere with a great staff. The food was so good that I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't have more buzz. We also enjoyed very creative and tasty cocktails. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A must visit, totally worth the price. Great wine list. The lobster ravioli and Wagyu steak are the best we have ever had and are beautifully presented.

A superb evening in a grand restaurant where the ambient noise allows conversations without having to shout --- a phenenom not often found in DC restaurants. Great food served by an attentive and knowledgeable staff who make you feel very welcome. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.

Dinner for 2 with drinks was right at $300. We had all small plates including foie gras (superlative), lobster ravioli (good), pasta with white truffles (not worth the $50 price tag), among other tastes. It was overall a delicious and entertaining meal, but a little uneven in the food and timing between dishes. They're packed now that Michelin started awarding... More

We stopped accidentally at this restaurant for an unplanned lunch during our visit in Washington DC. Impressive deco. Excellent food. Excellent wine. Superb service.
