Great service, amazing food, the service was attentive, and the whiskey guide did not steer us wrong?

Jack Rose is a must-stop for true whiskey lovers. The place looks like a mix of a library and Ollivander's wand shop from Harry Potter. The bottles line the wall shelves around the entire main floor. The well-informed bartenders (it's almost a shame to call...More

2,700 bottles of liquor lining the walls should say it all. The bar and dining atmosphere is casual yet elegant, with a cigar bar to boot. You have access to a huge selection of bourbons, whiskys, and Scotch Whiskeys, and can do a lot of...More

We had reservations, but added to it, so we had to wait a while at the bar. Outstanding collection, very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good, but overpriced. Very crowded on a Saturday night!

A good rooftop and restaurant in Adams Morgan. I went to a birthday party. There are a very broad drink menu, you can smoke while drinking on the rooftop, sports tv and very good music.

Excellent service, the most bottles of spirits I've ever seen. We got there late for the food but still it was good. Went for the experience and was not disappointed

Brought my husband here for a surprise dinner to celebrate his new job. He is a huge whiskey fan and Jack Rose did not disappoint! We both enjoyed dinner but the custom flight stole the show. We will be back soon.

We had a great, relaxed evening meal at this place. We had two great draft beers (I know, should have tried the whiskeys!), a burger, a seared tuna, and the fried green tomatoes. Everything was well prepared, and tasty. Particularly impressive was the wait staff......More

Approximately 2600 bottles of different whiskys line the walls of this venerable institution. Worth a visit to sample old favorites or try rare ones. Loud, though.
