We didn't eat in our hotel, but chose the short walk to Georgetown and selected this small place for breakfast. I had Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and my wife had what to us is a toastie, but which she thought was delicious. Service was very good. Excellent quality of food and value for money. Definitely give this place a... More

Used the counter service. Waiting for a tour group that was starting in the Navy Square. Seems well managed and staff was attentive. One of the things we got was a Palmier. It was good. I would go back.

I have been to Paul's in the UK,France and Dubai, and was excited when I saw a Paul in Georgetown, expecting their tarts to be just like all the other places I visited, after it's a franchise, so you should know what you are getting. But, this was nothing like the others I have been, the fresh apple turnover, had... More

Poor service. Been several times to this establishment. On most times the service has been poor and on the 2 last visits the cashiers were rude. After the 2nd visit I refuse to patronize the bakery. No love lost !....since the food quality and taste is over rated. Mediocre taste is acceptable only if the service is good and prices... More

It was a warm welcome on a cold, blustery February day. The leek quiche was delightful, the hot English breakfast tea was good, and I purchased two pastries "to go" to prolong the enjoyment of it all. They have many bread, pastry and lunch options. This is a casual restaurant or bistro meant for a quick bite and conversation, though... More

Very pleasant lunch with three soups, several sandwich options, and two daily specials. We opted for one sandwich and soup special which we shared and one additional bowl of soup. We had plenty of food for lunch. The special was $17 and the soup was about $5. Good place, mostly people working in the area.

We arrived today at noon, and they were out of most of the brunch menu options. That should refill their supplies, since it's really crowded on sundays. Also, it's very expensive compared to the quality and quantity of food

I love this place for it's European feel, good coffee, nice choice on the menu and cozy atmosphere but why is there no wifi available to clients?? I mean, this is America in 2017!!! It feels a little cheap to be honest. So what?: management is scared that customers will stay around all day sucking all their wifi at the... More

Do not miss this stop in Georgetown. If you are a tourist, this is the place for a quick breakfast option or to pick up pastries for touring later. Incredibly delicious food. And the staff members are charming - with some of the best smiles in DC.
