We went here to celebrate a birthday and we had a wonderful time. We had the bacon wrapped dates, the house made hummus and pita, the stuffed quail, and the sweet potato gnocchi- all fantastic, and the bacon wrapped dates in particular were really incredible. We enjoyed the seasonal drinks as well, especially the spiced cider! The atmosphere was very... More

Whether for brunch on a lazy weekend or dinner, whether for business meeting, romantic dinner or just meeting up with friends, the restaurant is excellent. The quality of the food is superior, and the wine list has a wide range of options. The sommelier is very knowledgeable and the service is attentive and friendly. Has an outside area which is... A wonderful service by Tin from Vietnam, impeccable actually. The food was good, but far over priced for what we received $80 USD for a small salad, a turkey dish with some condiments and a pecan-pie or a $70 USD profit margin or a good night to rob your customers respecting that very good restaurant.

The hostess was warm and friendly and gave me several seating options while waiting for my friend to show up. I chose the patio as they had ample heaters to keep us warm. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. Our beacon covered dates appetizer was burned but they replaced it with a new order and they were cooked to perfection.... More

Cool vibe spot for brunch. Nice menu and drinks. We all enjoyed all we ate. Miley's and. Omelets and home fries all done nicely. Nice muffins. Busy spot so make a reservation. Good service. Enjoyable meal. We would return again.

Amazing place in terms of the atmosphere. Historic building and appointments. Fabulous food and really good service. Loved the selection of cocktails. We had a medium-sized business dinner here and everyone was impressed.

We came to Tabard Inn and weren't disappointed. I had the Chesapeake breakfast. Crab cakes and poached eggs were fantastic. My husband had salmon hash, which was just incredible. Bloody Mary's were also great.

There may be better food to be found in Washington but since the closure of Citronelle I have yet to experience it. Moreover, at the Tabard Inn's restaurant, it so much more than the food. The ambience is just wonderful. The setting is memorable and, as is remarked so often, unique in this day and age. On my most recent... More

We enjoyed this special restaurant - a favorite of our hosts, who live in the area. We enjoyed the burrata, crab cakes, trout, fresh veggies and the devil's food cake for dessert (worth the splurge). This is a DC find. Unique setting and atmosphere. We would definitely return.
