Italian restaurant very cool and for vips but you can also eat a quality pizza for a reasonable price. Just a bit noisy, that it is difficult to speak to each other in the same table. Maybe also the tables are too close... Professional service,...More

Second time back at the Café, a couple of years ago I was here last time. Always buzzing, great ambiance and superb pasta and antipasti as always. Great service and overall an enjoyable experience.

Used to be very good. Daily Branzino special was quite bland and slightly overcooked - the Tiramisu should have been a highlight at an Italian place - not the case. Expensive place with great service - if that's all you require.

I have been to Café Milano for both business events and pleasure. It is always a first class experience. The food is varied and always prepared well. It is moderately expensive but I feel the value is worth it.

Appitizers were the best part of the meal, but it is a pretty place and the food is decent. I prefer Ristorante La Perla for Italian food.

I would say smart casual. There are always men and women in suits...I would not wear jeans to go to Caffe' Milano but you will not be turned away for wearing them.

Description
Guests savor genuine Southern Coastal Italian cuisine in a setting reminiscent of a stylish Milan boutique. Framed designer scarves adorn the walls in a creative and colorful homage to Italian fashion. The ceiling gives way to coves of hand-painted murals celebrating Italian culture, including the stunning portrait of famed opera singer, Placido Domingo, in the room named in his honor. During warm-weather months, the front wall of floor-to-ceiling windows open onto an outdoor sidewalk patio, adding a touch of Northern Italy to the Georgetown streetscape, creating one of the most sought after dining spots in Washington. Since owner Franco Nuschese blazed onto the DC dining scene over twenty years ago, Cafe Milano has been a power center for diplomats, politicians, journalists, broadcasters, lobbyists, entertainers, and all who enjoy fine Italian food and gracious attentive service.
