Food was not acceptable. Asked for the Thai rice and it tasted like smoked rice. Vegetables were burnt. Overall not a good restaurant. I do not recommend it.

I stopped here for lunch after getting off the train, and I thought the East Street Cafe was an excellent choice. It is not expensive, and service is quick. The food was really delicious. I had the grilled chicken barbecue which was 3 skewers of...More
East Street Cafe hasn't changed in the 17 years I've been going - and that's fine. The food is tasty and delivered quickly, there are options for everyone - Thai, Korean, FIlipino, and more cuisines are featured here. I personally go for the noodle dishes...More

Better food than expected in a railway station. I had my first General Tso's Chicken here. It is in a relatively quiet corner of Union Station.
I love the Grilled Veggies!! They give you a choice of brown or white rice and a generous portion of grilled veggies including zucchini, carrots, stringed beans, onions, mushrooms, broccoli and three wonderful rectangles of grilled tofu. The teriyaki sauce is delicious.
