I must admit, I'm a bit confused by what this place is trying to be. The food was pretty good: salmon, pork chop, fried oysters, cocktail shrimp and cheesecake. I didn't care too much for the lettuce wraps. It seems the menu is a bit...More

Hello KendraDawnRN and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Also, you are sort of correct, there is only one specialty cocktail on the menu, but there are several other spirits on the happy hour menu.

Food was outstanding. Not a broad selection, but everything was wonderful. A bit pricey, but will definitely dine here again.

This was a bit of a let down. Because of the good service I'm giving it a 3, but really the food was only worth a 2. Both dishes ordered and the cheese course for dessert were sub-par.

We had a few friends coming in from out of time for the weekend, and based on the ratings of this place we thought it would be a good choice. The place itself is not appealing, wasn't crazy about the decor and the music was...More

Poste is located in an attractive hotel across the street from the National Portrait Museum and the basketball arena. The restaurant is quite attractive too, with wood panelling and a good-looking bar area. We sat outside in a sort of protected terrace, since the weather...More

In the summer the outdoor seating is much better but the inside is still a nice spot for dinner with friends or colleagues. The food was delicious and the service was good. A tad pricey but considering the location, not too bad

Sited in a beautifully restored building with an elegant menu, each time I go I am hopeful the experience will live up to its promise. And yet it always falls a bit short. The lighting is both too low and, in certain seats, glaring. The...More
