Delicious empanadas! Flavorful and can choose from savory and sweet. Conveniently located to grab and go. Will be back for more!

Having stayed in the area for three days this was something different to try. Overall it was not bad, I would try another but it's not something I would rave about. I also had their strawberry and cream cheese pastry, that too was not bad at all.

At the recommendation of a family member we were on the lookout for a Julias Empanadas place when we visited DC recently. They have 3 locations and we were surprised when we stumbled upon the place while we were walking around Adams Morgan (neighborhood). They have a great 'meal deal' and you get a savory empanada, a sweet empanada and... More

We were at a party across the street and came here for that late night snack. Well I was floored by the quaility and the taste. My favorite was the guave and peach! I will be telling everyone about this place on all their trips to DC

Great hole in the wall place to grab a quick bite to-go. FYI they have a minimum $10 charge for using cards. The curry chicken and Chilean empanadas are awesome.

I've had my share of hispanic empanadas and these are the BEST I've ever had. The chilean was to die for. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. This was our first time in DC and as we strolled by looking for a cheap eat, we found Julia's and thank God we did. We also tried the... More

Went for a light lunch; 1 empanada, soup and salad for two was a great intro to this place. Homemade and great flavor. Only three bar stools; very cramped, but that is Adams Morgan. Recommend.

I'm the carnivore and found the beef empanadas excellent, very flavorful with great texture. The saltenas (chicken) was too mushy for me. The spinach and cheese were excellent altho' once again vegetarian husband said "3." The veggie empanada was very mushy and for me not at all palatable. Overall excellent and at a big city price that can't be beat.... More

Have heard a lot about his place from friends but tried it for the first time last month. Was not disappointed at all. Awesome tasting and fresh empanadas for very reasonable price. The size of empanadas is pretty decent too (coming from a 180 lb guy ). I tried the turkey one and loved it! It's a very small shop... More
