Hubby got a cheese steak and I got Italian sausage. They were delicious. Just wish it had a little more cheese.

Reasonably priced very generous sandwich on your choice of roll ready in a few minutes. Well located quiet eatery in one of one of DC's busiest gentrifying neighborhoods loved especially by the upwardly mobile 20 something generation for dining, shopping and nightlife. One block from green and yellow line metro and next door to a very popular supermarket.

Ordered two sandwiches to go. They called my name and gave me the sandwiches. Walked home and found that they got one sandwich correct, one sandwich incorrect. Phoned and was greeted with ... 'you took the wrong sandwiches'. I didn't TAKE anything. I was GIVEN the wrong sandwiches. Didn't feel like dealing with it, so said 'you owe me a... More

The adults enjoyed the sandwiches but they were to complicated for the kids. Would spend the money for adults but go to subway for kids

I'm very hit or miss with Taylor Gourmet. In general, I like the concept of these sandwich shops, but this one doesn't really follow through. Taylor Gourmet definitely has a large menu from which to choose, which always helps. But if you watch those shows like "Restaurant Impossible," you know that the more options you have, the less you are... More

Swung past the location en route from the airport on arrival. We we're ferociously hungry and Taylors certainly delivered. Quality ingredients make for a great sandwich and salad. Callowhill meatball sandwhich and Society Hill salad.

Great sandwiches at really good prices. I'd recommend adding a little sauce/mayo/dressing to whatever you order as the bread can sometimes overwhelm the sandwich.

Philadelphia-styled sandwiches and salads. Hot and cold. My favorite is the 'Pattison Avenue' (roast pork with broccoli rabe and provolone cheese). I first heard about the sandwich on FoodNetwork's "Best Sandwiches" show. DeNic's roast pork sandwich in Philly's Terminal Market won for the best sandwich on the east coast. If you can't get to Phllly, Taylor Gourmet offers the next... More
