The food was very good. We loved their take on hash browns, french toast and huevos rancheros. There were many other things on the menu that we didn't try. The only challenge was that this is an incredibly popular spot which made for a bit of a wait but once we received the food we were glad we stuck it... More

We ate at this nice spot for breakfast. The food was good, friendly service, and we got our food fast. I also like the variety on the menu.

Burned my main dish and overcharged for a lousy, lukewarm chai latte. Windows were wide open on a very cold night. Really??

Went with colleague, they were out of several items even early in the evening. The chicken and waffles were pretty good BUT my friend's Salmon was awful. Overcooked, overspiced and just almost inedible.

The night we got to DC we headed over to Open City to have a couple of drinks. The restaurant is on the small side and with a group of 6 they put us on their enclosed patio. My only complaint is the lighting in there wasn't very good and I had specifically gone there for the gluten free option,... More

We ate here all the time we were in DC. Breakfast was great-love the hashbrowns. The people were great, very friendly, went the extra mile to please. Lunch- Soups were very good, interesting sandwiches. Desserts were homemade, Cheesecake was my favorite-so rich. They have an extensive tea selection.

We were seated right away. Great service and different menu made lunch very interesting. Seating kinda tight but now comfortable.

I've been to Adams Morgan several times when I lived in DC a number of years ago but it was nice to see that they had a place like Open City. The place was extremely packed but we were able to get a few seats at the bar. Service was a little slow but understandable due to the crowd and the... More

We often have conferences near this neighborhood and one of the things we look forward to is eating at Open City. Breakfast is our favorite but we have eaten lunch and dinner there as well. The egg dishes are the best as well as their pastries. Service is good and they have an interesting menu. Coffee comes with two animal... More

Delicious food for our family of omnivores, paleos, and vegetarians. Nice serving sizes. Someone in the neighborhood walking their dog told us about it, and it was a good match for our sightseeing family.
