I came upon this restaurant after driving for a while and just stopped on a whim thinking to have a bite to eat. I ordered an omelet with lots of vegetables, and it was very fresh and tasted very good to this rather picky eater. Furthermore, the waitress was helpful and kind. The atmosphere also is very pleasant and homey.

Portion size fine, food was average, a little pricey though. Clean, nice folks. Fun little candy shop also a part of the place.

Good place to go with family. Surprisingly large menu for small town. Everyone enjoyed their meal in our group.

Lovely place for lunch. Well priced food and very tasty. Friendly with great service, nothing is a problem and the ice creams are very good

This place was busy on a Wednesday night. We sat in the diner and watched as staff was attentive to those in the candy shop or getting a hand-dipped ice cream. The bar was about half full with a young, friendly, local vibe. The restaurant was very clean. The menu was rather large for a small place - including pizza,... More

They know there are few options in Alpine. Service is the worst. The girl will stare at you when you come in. Speak to her first or you will just stand there waiting for assistance. Unfortunately she was our waitress too, with no personality and seemed like us coming in bothered her.

We eat here several times each time we are camping at Luna lake. Just great home cooked food served with a smile. The portions at breakfast are huge my husband and I always share. They also have an ice cream parlor and a candy shop.

Stop here normally 1 a year, due to circumstances it's been more than a few. So glad to see they are still doing breakfast as it is always good to great! Service is quick as they stand right there at the counter. A little slow out of the kitchen but worth the wait. The spicy sausage patties are very good,... More

This place doesn't look like much...however....looks can be deceiving! The service is very slow, but we understood why when we received our food...it was amazing...and well worth the wait! The dinner salads are fairly large....fresh, crisp romaine lettuce mix with a sizable side of homemade dressing. The chicken fried steak was an actual sirloin steak..the mashed potatoes and gravy were... More

We had two sliders and a green chili burger. All were overcooked with the outside being crispy. It was not busy and there was plenty of staff milling around. The sliders said with sautéed onions. The onions are cooked inside the meat instead of coming on top which was not what I expected. We have eaten here several times in... More
