The hat has the best Pastrami sandwiches. Looking at it if you don't know it I am sure you would think it, but you have to try. But only order one order of frys per 2-3 people they are huge portions. And try the gravy fries, they are to die for.

Please try the chili cheese fries-they are awesome! Serves 2-3 people. Pastrami is great & is their signature! I also recently tried their hot dogs & I love the crunchiness! When they got my order wrong, they discounted the price.

I have enjoyed the Hat for years, however I bought 4 Pastrami's and paid almost $40.00. I remember when you could get them for $6.50 and now $8.99. I may come here once a year now as I would rather go and spend $40.00 towards a decent meal.

Some people say it isn't the best pastrami, but it's tender, tasty and melts in your mouth. The wet fries are also pretty delicious. It can be a little pricey as far as sandwiches go, but the portions are huge.

Best Pastrami sandwich on the planet. This is not the deli style sandwich with other toppings on rye, it is on a roll bread with just meat, mustard, and pickles (and they dip the bread in the pastrami drippings for extra flavor). Stopped by this little drive-in not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Lots of delicious pastrami piled on the hoagie roll. I ordered the orange drink thinking it was a soda. What a nice surprise. It was like drinking an orange creamsicle.

Ok so its not healthy. Its the best pastrami ever. This HAT is the original and their servings are generous. If you go to the other Hats they don't stuff them like this place. Every so often, you just have to stop here for a hot pastrami sandwich and fries! The portions are huge, so come hungry. The cost is reasonable, and the service is fast and friendly
