We went there while visiting our kids that live up in McKinleyville. Had wanted to go our last time up there, but we ran out of time. Kind of a small place with pretty limited seating, so go there during an off hour to get a seat and quicker service. I had the bacon cheeseburger and had asked that the... More

So, food was yummy and taco salad looked very good. Fish and chips was fresh and good option for non burger people. Service was kind and efficient. A must stop for kids and Sponge Bob lovers.

The onion rings have a great crispness yet you can taste the onions. In other words, these are not heavy beer batter monsters. The two Stars hamburger joints are locally owned, locally grown establishments whose owner often hangs out on the guest side, chatting about the beef he uses and the great buns he developed. The staff is great and... More

One of those places I've eat at countless times over the past 20+ years. The walls are covered with "Best Burger Place of the Year" awards, which to be honest speaks more to the lack of good burger places than it does to how good Stars is. Their burgers are fine - nothing exceptional but its a nice local establishment... More

We were making a pit stop and were not expecting such a HUGE menu at a burger joint. The staff made great recommendations. I had a great chicken/bacon sandwich and the guys loved their double double and bleu cheese burgers on house buns. Huge shakes. OMG we'd be HUGE if we lived here because we'd be here often!

All the best parts of a burger cafe even for a vegetarian. Great shakes, fries and burgers. Classic old-world. Near campus and downtown.

Had a good burger and fries, real good milk shake. Good local grass fed beef. Better than a Carl's Jr. At the same price.

This burger spot is the inspiration for the Krusty Krab restaurant from the SpongeBob SquarePants TV series. While you won't see SpongeBob or Squidward, you will get a tasty burger. Try the jalapeño swiss. It was yummy. Hold the mayo. No need for that here. Try the Shake of the Moment. Ours was black cherry vanilla. Awesome. Good onion rings,... More

Casual spot near college - you can order classic items or branch out with some unusual sauces and sides. Pricier than fast food but they use local, grass-fed beef so you are getting what you pay for. I go classic....best burger I've had in Arcata.

Also crunchy fries that I love. Done just right! Have a selection of salads, milk shakes, veggie options, basket package (burger, fries, drink for less). Discount for seniors. Delicious food.
