The menu here probably has something for everyone. The food is good, and so is the service. On our most recent visit, I had a nice, crispy wedge salad, with bacon and bleu cheese crumbles, and a small bowl of matzo ball soup. The soup...More

Stopped by for lunch with the wife. Ordered the pastrami sandwich and was disappointed. Lots of meat but cut thick, making this a very hard chew sandwich. Not much flavor either. Cost for two sandwiches, iced tea, tax and tip was close to $50.More

Overall, this is a good restaurant for lunch. We wouldn't necessarily recommend them for breakfast because there are other great restaurants in Auburn for breakfast. We find that their best kept secret are their hot fudge sundae and banana splits.

Restaurant is somewhat hard to find due to its location. I would classify it similar to a Denny's type franchise, but more upscale. We were seated immediately in a nice booth. Service was friendly and efficient. Our friends both had Rueben sandwiches that were excellent....More

Long time Auburn resident, first time at Max's and probably the last. Late breakfast/brunch on a Saturday. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible, even though it was not busy. Our waitress was nice, but not present enough to even ask if we...More
