We always liked the food, but their old location was sketchy at best. The new place is much more inviting. Better access, much more comfortable dining atmosphere. We will continue to come back.

With many Mexican restaurant options in Alamosa, CO, we randomly chose Nino's because it was a handy location. Wow, were we glad we did. The restaurant was very warm and inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We chose to take our time between our margarita and ordering, and our waitress happily obliged us, giving us all the time... More

Nino's moved to a new location on or about 8/1. Very good food (as always) and now one of the most upscale locations in Alamosa. Outdoor seating cannot be beat. They have a fireplace in one of the dining rooms and a first-class bar. Margarita's are excellent (and quite large - easily serves two people). Highly recommended.

Nino's moved last week to a new location, 326 Main Street, Alamosa, CO....used to be Trujillo's, or the old Ace Inn to locals. They did a very, very nice job with the decor and upscaling the appearance and ambience. They now have booths in little cubby holes that look very romantic along with new tables and metal chairs. They have... More

With high expectations that we would find great Mexican food in southwest Colorado, we chose to eat at Nino's. Unfortunately, we find better Mexican fool in Portland! Really? The entrees lacked creativity and my margarita was just a frozen concoction. Our server was unfriendly at first, then warmed to us as the evening progressed. Overall, our dining experience was a... I definitely think that Nino's is the best Mexican place in town! Their food is delicious, though maybe a little more expensive than what it should be. The service is average, not the best, but definitely better than many restaurants in town.

Stopped here to join a friend for lunch. No waiting in the main sitting area. They have a large main area, private smaller areas and in nice weather a very nice, relaxing patio. It is a relaxed atmosphere where causal is the rule! Fast and efficient service with good sized portions for a very reasonable amount. The two of us... More

While the prices on the menu seemed average, this company charged a lot with every change you made to their way of making things. A bill that we expected to be about $100 quickly became about $200. The waitress enough people to add on lots of extras, without mentioning the extra cost. The food was OK, but not great. The... More

We stopped here for dinner during the Sand Hill Crane Festival. Our server was busy (extremely), efficient, and attentive. Excellent salsa. We had fajitas and they were very good. We came in for an early dinner and this place fills up fast. This is a very good Mom/Pop Restaurant.
