As soon as you walk in to the shop you see a feast of fine food ahead of you. The food and cheeses are delicious. But beware - there are no prices on the food in the window and a piece of Chiliean Sea Bass to feed two, a small tub of coleslaw and a bunch of asparagus cost $79.00!

Best place in town for sandwiches and soups! And the only place I buy meat for dinner parties! Really knowledgeable staff that have helped me create great meals!

The Butchers Block has very fine meat , fish and specialty sea food. Nothing is cooked , I would call it a specialty , high end, grocery store. It is expensive but everything is very high quality.

I stopped in to shop for an appetizer to bring to a friend's home...excellent selection of pates and mousse as well as toasts to go with it.

Had a quick lunch. Not a lot of seating but the food was extremely good. I would recommend the homemade soups. Great place to pick up food and take home!

This is an Aspen Classic. Our favorite for a quick and tasty lunch. Wonderful soups and sandwiches the way you like them, stacked with fresh meats and cheeses, and a treat for the taste buds. It is a definite must do while in Aspen.

Stopped in here on a recommendation from a local, as my mother had requested I bring her a sandwich for dinner. I was very impressed with the friendly staff and the selection of deli meats and cheeses. Had a delicious bowl of chili, and mother really enjoyed a huge corned beef sandwich. Definitely recommended.

We called in to buy 4 sandwiches and two cans of soft drink. The sandwiches were simply average - certainly don't even compare with Subway (of which I'm not a big fan!). Poor supermarket standard if that. We could not believe the cost of $56 which equated to two days car hire!! My husband and I had the egg salad... More

Close to City Market. It's a butcher and a deli in a cramped space. The butcher and cheese portion posts no prices. Their ribeye is almost double what you get at a supermarket. Interesting cheese choices, but I was afraid to ask the price. The sandwiches are cheaper than what you pay for downtown and without any sides. I had... More

Fast friendly service and great ingredients are what you should expect. We bought a sandwich here before hiking the bells and it was the perfect takeaway.
