Delicious elk tagliatelle and bison sliced prime rib. Excellent Etude Pinot and very nice staff. Only place to have lunch in Snowmass, everything else is only fuel.

If your looking for a quaint full service restaurant on the slopes, this is the place for you. Although a bit pricy, the food and wine menu is quite good. You will need to make a reservation on Open Table, but if you do your reservation time will be honored. Ask John, the host, about the secret jalapeño corn muffins.... More

At 6pm we met down at the fire-pit at Base Camp Bar and Grill in Snowmass Base Village, and were taken by snow-cat up to Lynn Britt Cabin. We were met at the door with a glass of wine. The appetizers was a cheese plate with meats, cheeses, pickles, etc.-- very good. The salad was super. My wife and I... More

Great location and food right on the trails. Can ski up for lunch, excellent food and service. Can take a Snow Cat for dinner. Can make reservations for lunch. We did not make one, but if you go for lunch during an off time should be able to get a table.

We had 2 families go on a Thursday night and we did not choose to go on the family night which I think is Wednesday as the booking agent made it sound more for little kids. Our kids are aged from 12 to 8 and are used to dining out. The snowcat adventure is fun and the sing along (and... More

When we are in Aspen for down-hill skiing we usually have a quick ski-in/ski-out lunch at one of the self-service restaurants on the slopes. A bowl of soup or a salad and out skiing again. But sometimes you feel for a sit-down, table-service lunch with better food, linen table cloths and proper china. Then the Lynn Britt Cabin is your... More

This is a great experience and fun for the entire family, especially the Snocat ride. It can be cold on the way back home, but you will be happy and satisfied so you won't worry about it. Good live music, and the food is good and the staff are excellent and friendly. The "western kitsch" can get a little overdone... More

I agree with one of the other reviewers who also visited in March, 2014. The snowcat ride up and down was great. The driver was super friendly and let us ride up front with him. That was the main reason we made reservations, was for the experience of riding up the mountain in a snowcat and for that I am... More

Ok it is not cheap, but the food is great and the cabin is very nice. Too bad I only went there on the last day. By far the best restaurant on the slopes in Snowmass (and maybe off the slopes too).

Our children gave us dinner at Lynn Britt Cabin for Christmas, but we had to wait until our March trip to Snowmass to experience it. It was worth the wait. The ride up to the cabin and back down in a snow-cat was fun, and the 5-course menu from cauliflower soup through bread pudding with cherries was well thought-out and... More
