all I know is the owners have a gold mine in a silver town, with a fast-moving line out the door and bakegoods and gelato as fine as the service

As in the title, the coffee and baked goods were very good, particularly the cinnamon roll and the brownie a la mode. However the lady who served us was not very friendly and it is expensive for both coffee and food.

Nice ice cream, though I never thought it was quite worth the price. Friendly service though, and the cookies are particularly nice.

On the days they actually have "fresh" muffins, they may be good, but the owners/managers here are a joke!! First, I've never seen a business blatantly lie to a regular customer (I live in Aspen) about "fresh" food. When you buy one muffin that's soft and moist, it's pretty obvious it's fresh. When you go back the next day and... More

For 40 years, we don't know a business more commited at baking fresh all day long. And since 1981 there is not a business in Aspen that has provided more opportunities for local youth, locals in general and students as Paradise Bakery. We welcome you to come in to express your concerns so we can take care of you. More

I live and work in Aspen, and I eat their muffins almost daily. However, I've noticed inconsistencies in the quality, especially on the weekends. It seems as if the muffins are not baked daily, but rather made in bulk and stockpiled until sold. As a product of that, the end of a batch can be quite stale tasting compared to... More

Thank you for your review! We make all of our baked goods fresh daily, throughout the day and we never stockpile until they are sold. Whatever is left at the end of the night goes to many charitable organizations as a donation. I apologize if you got a muffin that to you seemed stale. For the future, if that ever... More

Our favorite afternoon snack place in Aspen. Can sample cookies, brownies, cakes, muffins, etc. waiting in line to order ice cream which is the best...sugar cones with a cookie on top and a spoon if needed.

We just took the kids for ice cream after dinner. They have some great flavors to choose from and also awesome home made baked goods. I can highly recommend the cream cheese brownie! There is often a line out the door but don't let it deter you. They move people in and out quick and it is WELL worth the... More

Grab a double scoop on a waffle cone and sit outside and people watch. The Aspen scene is unlike any other. Great dessert spot after lunch.

Thank you for your review and your kind words! We recommend trying one of the gelato-pastrie combinations as well! Warm brownie with some gelato on top, aka brownie a la mode is the perfect dessert! See you soon! More

Always a must at the end of the day! The trick is to skip dessert when dining out in town and drop by Paradise Bakery on the way home. Nice coffee and lots of freshly baked cookies from which to choose. Yum!
