Family friendly and conch fritters are awesome. The atmosphere is relaxed and has a small pool for cooling off right on the beach.

This place can be a bit hard to find (bring a flashlight at night so you can look for the signs) so just keep going! We had a group of six and only stayed for dinner but this looks like a great bar/lounge environment after people are done with dinner. If you do go to rojo, be sure to order... More

Great place right on the beach, with a non-standard menu that has some interesting selections on it. We really enjoyed the spicy dumplings, which we got two orders of, and the atmosphere generally was fantastic. I'd probably stay away from the pizza though.

We ate here 3 times during our stay on Ambergris Caye-twice for lunch and once for dinner. The bacon lobster pizza was amazing! I can't remember the names of the other dishes we had - one was a pork dish in a taco-type bun, one was a chicken potsticker and the other was a fresh tuna mixture on a fried... More

What an unexpected find. Walking down the beach and run into this oasis. Good cold draft beer and unbelievable food. Got to go looking for this spot but locals know where it is. Just ask

This bar is chilled out, on the beach with an incredible view (with their own plunge pool). Go here for the cocktails, delicious food and to see Gabi the parrot dance!

We stopped here on a snorkel trip to the Mexico rocks - so glad our guide recommended it! They have a bunch of games, couches on the sand, a fresh water infinity pool looking over the ocean, amazing food. All of the food is small plates, but so delicious and perfect for sharing when you want to try everything on... More

Yo-ho-ho and 3 barrels of rum!!! Coming into our 11th season, Rojo Beach Bar is still the casual kind of place a beach bar ought to be. BUT, this year, you might have noticed the lounge is back at Rojo! We proudly represent Belize's award winning Tiburon rum and Traveller's Don Omario Royal & 5 Barrell, ON TAP, in their gorgeously displayed rum barrels! Food is ordered AT THE BEACH BAR or by the runner outside the bar (there are NO waitstaff). Dishes are served family style, one or two at a time, with the idea that they're going to be shared over frosty drinks and lively conversation. There are no "appetizers" or "mains" per se, just tasty food. Our staff is small and everything is made from scratch. Sometimes this translates into a bit of a wait. If you are waiting for food, we suggest you enjoy a cocktail. If you are waiting for a cocktail, we suggest you relax and enjoy the view! Be sure to check out the daily specials! Happy Hour DAILY from 3pm - 5pm!
