El Fogon appears to be an unassuming spot on a side street in San Pedro, but the food is incredible and so worth it! We attempted to go on a Saturday and would've had to wait over an hour, so we went elsewhere but made a reservation for that Monday (it's closed Sundays). I highly recommend the fish coconut curry--unbelizeable!

We were introduced to this authentic local restaurant on the Belize Food Tour and booked a reservation for a return dinner later that week. Sand floors and thatch roof with dutch oven cooking over a wood fire and our food was delicious.

Food was incredible. Try the gibnut...belizean delicacy that lived up to its name. Great ceviche! Walkable from airport

The drinks were good. I enjoyed the live music. Dinner was just OK though. Nothing special. Try and sit outside, it is cooler.

I don't know what Belizean Cuisine should taste like, but this was good food. Well prepared with fresh ingredients and nice presentation .

We came in a group. I was mid hungry and ordered only desert (coconut cheesecake). I asked to be served the same time as the rest of the group. After an hour (usual thing here) when other were given their plates I was told they run out of cheesecake.... They waited an hour to tell me that!?!?!? I didn't order... More

The food was very good. Conch ceviche was pretty good. The service was excellent. Very attentive but not too much.

Amazing food! Went here because of a recommendation we got from our guide at a reserve and loved it! Try their conch fritters. We were a bit disappointed to hear that Lobster season is closed but all in all great dining experience.

Try the conch fritters very tasty! My husband and I both had seafood dish with coconut rice but they were seasoned differently. Mine had a great spiced kick and his had a curry taste. Both very delicious. Sorry I can't remember the exact names of the dishes. Servings are big here so come hungry or skip out on the appetizers.... More

Food and service was great. I would suggest making a reservation if going from 6:30-8:00. Crevice was awesome. So was the citrus shrimp with ginger. Price was $25 for me and 28 for my friend. That was with a cocktail.
