We had conch fritters and little pulled chickentacoettes as apps, both good but the fritters were some of the best I have had. Actually tender conch! The entressall had good sauce and spice, the seafood was cooked perfectly. Great sevice great food.

Went into town for lunch and we were hoping to eat elsewhere but our normal spot was closed Tuesday's. Walked a few blocks and found El Fogon. I ordered the fish curry which was awesome. Wife ordered the Belikin fried lobster and dad ordered Belikin fried chicken. Both had rave review of their food. A little pricey but very good.

I met a lot of locals while on Ambergris Caye and several told me to go to El Fogon for fresh fish--some sold their fish to the restaurant. I probably shouldn't even rate this place because I didn't end up eating there. It's not that easy to find, so give yourself some time. When I got there, I think I was... More

El Fogon was recommended by several locals, so we gave it a try. The food was to die for! You can't go wrong at El Fogon!

Very friendly, home cookin' restaurant near the airport in San Pedro. We went for lunch, which is a different menu than dinner. At lunch the highlight is their stews which are cooked outside on their "el fogon". Simply delicious and filling meal, would highly recommend.

5 of us ate here twice during a week stay on the island. It is a little open aired shack with sand floors located on a street with no other buildings. The service was a little spotty depending due to every table being occupied. All our meals were excellent! Try the "royal rat" for en experience you will have no... More

Pricey but amazing food and excellent service!! Even a local told us it was one of his favorite restaurants on the island. We ordered conch soup-sooo good- and conch fritters as an app. Very good. Lunch entrees were good too. Service was on point- at one point I dropped my knife and the server immediately brought me a new one... More

Food was very good. Decent place, normal for the area.Don't like the fact that they don't put prices on menu, but that's not unusual. Good service.

Had dinner here and ordered the conch fritters, chicken stew, lobster creole and frozen coconut cheesecake. The conch fritters are not as good as other places in san pedro as they're breadier and don't have much conch in them but are cheaper than usual too. Chicken stew was delicious though got a little salty by the end, and the steamed... More

The best red snapper on the island😃 I salivate just thinking about it! Rustic by US standards but one bite and you'll think you are in heaven!
