Every local we ran into told us to try Cenaida's for an authentic Belizian meal. We finally did on our last night in San Ignacio. I had the fresh whole red snapper, baked potato and salad. The fish was perfectly cooked, and tasty. It was my favorite meal of our entire vacation, and that's saying something.

Great authentic Belizean food served with a smile. Easy on the wallet and great flavor an excellent choice for lunch. They on take cash so be prepared.

Had just about everything on the menu... everything was tasty, home cooked and well priced... My favorite was the chicken quesadilla! Wowie! Plus, within a week we felt like part of the family. I highly recommend.

Great little Restaurant tucked away in a small back street. Very popular with the locals. The waiters were very efficient and polite explaining all the house specials, we ordered pork chop with mashed potatoes I think and salad also an order of chicken, rice and salad with a really cool small container of hot sauce, the food was nicely presented.... Good food for a reasonable price. Not the best we've had in CA but good value and nice staff. We tried to go a few times and found it closed unexpectedly - so watch out for that - but otherwise a good option in San Ignacio.

We were told this was the 'real thing' - traditional Belizian food. Although it was OK, it was not exciting or very filling. It just seem like standard food at a reasonable price.

We were there soon after it reopened following a fire. It was hard to find it as not many people knew where it was. Luckily, we were walking around so we found it anyway. The food was fabulous. we had a lobtser special - it was in season and it was extremely fresh,

I did not feel super hungry but the enchiladas were so good it was easy to finish. My husband had the beef fajita and loved it.

We visited for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Like many restaurants in Belize, it was freshly prepared and promptly served. Eating out on the patio was enjoyable. They only accept cash. Be aware that the location on TripAdvisor app as of this writing is incorrect. We were only able to find the restaurant by... More
