I had a short business meeting and we ate at Cafe Campesino. The Chicken salad chicken was great and the bread is a perfect associate.

Had the opportunity to have breakfast here during a recent stay in Americus. This is a low-key, earth-friendly establishment. The coffee is great. I didn't have any, but I'm told the food is terrific, and everyone should try the tomato bisque.

A gem! Ambiance and great location, in the center of very cool Americus. They have cortado's on the menu (most ATL coffee places do not), and they honor their coffee way, way more than most coffee shops. Right on Route 19. Worth a stop even...More

I had not expected such a gem of a find in a little town like Americus. The food is excellent and the choice of coffee is better than in many big cities, they do Espresso which is a rarity in the South. If you're looking...More

Who knew in a small Southwest Georgia town you could find a fair trade, "small, shade grown" coffee house? Not only can you indulge your coffee addiction, but you actually get a very high quality product. The cafe is centrally located, across from the Historic...More

Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable on coffee - We bought whole bean coffee and will now be buying our coffee there from now on - They have a unique menu that I'm definitely going back to try.

Cafe Campesino Coffee House is the flagship coffee house for Georgia's first Fair Trade, organic coffee company of the same name that opened in Americus in 1998. In 2017, Chef Lee Harris moved his made-from-scratch lunch and baked-goods business, Sweet Georgia Baking Co., into the coffee house, so the location now offers a double whammy- exceptional coffee and outstanding house-made foods. Supporting small farmers who produce some of the world's best coffee and sourcing fresh, delicious foods that contribute to a good-food economy is at the heart of this shop's mission. Visit Café Campesino and Sweet Georgia Baking for one of the best food and coffee experiences in the South.
