We were in town for a flyball tournament and had limited time for lunch. When we arrived the place was empty but filled up while we were eating. Service was good and friendly. My pita was very good. You get to select everything you want. Since this was downtown and in an old building seating is limited.

So/so gyros if you are looking for authentic gyros. BUT decent/okay quality wrap sandwich. Looks like they have lots of options for vegetarians but NOT authentic pitas or gyros.

Great veg-friendly place, just off of Broad street, steps from UGA's north campus. Many different varieties of pitas available, you pick your ingredients: from the proteins to the many veggies and sauces available. Order at the counter and sit down, better yet, get to go, due to limited seating.

Quick service; fresh produce and choice of meats fill pita wraps. It's like a Mediterranean Subway sandwich shop only a tad more expensive. Order a pita alone (around $7) or get a combo with chips and a drink (around $9.50). I've eaten here several times; how good the sandwich is seems to vary depending on who is filling it. The... This pita pit is on a side street across the street from the Univ. of Georgia. It was not the typical pita pit I am used too. The pita was made with sparingly used veggies. Taste was just ok. The store needed updating, but tje owner was a very nice man. I would possibly go there again.

This is one of those traditional hole in the wall restaurants for a college town. A quick place to grab a wrap/pita and bag of chips in between classes. This location has recently change ownership/had a remodel and the new face is fantastic. The service here is on-the-spot and with fresh ingredients, every pita is made to order. This location... We headed to The Pita Pit after a wedding was over. The guys behind the counter were super friendly! My husband and I hadn't been since college and it was a yummy late night treat while we were in town!

For being known for pitas or gyros, I was expecting more. Don't get me wrong, the chicken wrap I got here was fine -- but when a place's specialty is just okay, I wonder what the rest of the menu would be like.
