Small cafe, limited food menu, lots of baked goods. They roast their own coffee on site. The hot dogs are great - served inside a hollow baguette with various toppings! Plenty of italian (i.e. syrup-flavored ) soda flavors, including several sugar-free. Seats about fifteen people at most. Friendly staff. Free wi-fi.

My wife and I enjoyed a nice conversation together with specially prepared beverage and scone. We shared a gluten free scone, specially prepared breakfast sandwich, and fruit smoothie. We enjoyed specialty coffee on a previous visit to Arcadia with the same enjoyment in the beverage and conversation. The staff proficient in their food preparation. The sandwiches are made to order.... More

I stopped into this cute coffee shop on 22August2015 and had a very refreshing frozen strawberry lemonade and warmed almond croissant. The food was very good, staff friendly, kinda pricey, with wonderful reclaimed Ames trees made into tables. Awesome!

In a college town severely lacking in food options walking distance from campus, Arcadia saves the day with fresh breakfast sandwich. Seriously, why would you possibly go to dunkin donuts next door. This place has delicious fresh food

Arcadia serves great, fresh, vegetarian soups, with baguettes on the side. The chefs at Arcadia make everything from scratch, and the quality really shows. I like the atmosphere and the attention to detail.

The almond croissant I just had was amazing, so crisp and tasty. Acadia also makes the best scones I've ever had, just be aware that if you want more than a few you need to call ahead (like for a half dozen or more). The world class cakes are great too, just call ahead and allow a few days for... More

Which is perfect for parents who (like me) don't want to get their kids out of the car on cold or rainy days. I love my lattes and Arcadia has the best beans in Ames! Very flavorful and always just right. Try the breakfast sandwiches on their fresh baguettes; they do not disappoint. I like to take home a whole... More

Have always meant to stop by and try this place. We're pleasantly surprised and wished we would have done earlier. Had a breakfast sandwich banquette and a scone along with a mocha and hot chocolate. All was wonderful! The staff was very welcoming. Our new morning coffee stop!

The best I love here is their Veggie patty, egg and cheese Baguette. It's always fresh and hot. Coffee is roasted in house and tastes so good and refreshing!. I am a regular customer here for the past 3 years. The ambiance of this place is always warm and welcoming. Their bakery items are a sure try!
