Limited and boring menu, tagines are not great, grilled plates and starters are very good, nice fries and best Moroccan tea ever!

Dear um_7amani, Thank you very much for your review, I'm sorry that you were disappointed, but I would like to clarify some points. La Sqala is a restaurant before being a cafe, we don't serve brunch but breakfast which is clearly stated on our Menu (From 8 to 12) for the simple reason that the kitchen needs to prepare for... We stumbled across this place purely be chance but had an enjoyable lunch. Lovely courtyard setting, friendly & efficient service & good food. Only negative is it's not cheap.

It felt like a bit of a tourist trap, but my friends insisted and I waited patiently. The breakfast was great and well served, even though we had to wait forever to be seated and to be served.

We loved this place so much we ate here for two dinners and two breakfasts. Its hidden away from the street and if you reach Ricks Cafe you have gone too far. The entry and courtyard are very pretty and there is an indoor area if you are feeling cold. The breakfast for two is 155dhs and is an absolute... More

This cafe has been highlighted as a must do on all travel blogs and it doesn't disappoint. It's situated in the medina and has a very good selection of tangine dishes. It has a very big garden area, which makes for a very pleasant lunch.

LQ is hidden away behind a wall, up some stone steps, and along some little paths. The ambience is cute and delightful. We just had pastries, moroccan tea and juice, and they were all so nice, and prettily presented.

The setting is very attractive. Within the walls of the medina in a rustic garden. Peaceful and quiet and relaxing after all busyness of the city. On the other hand: it is a bit too 'massive' and over-efficient. We had better diners in Morocco. We miss the personal touch and the attention that is required to serve a diner.

I am a big fan of this place, specially for breakfast / brunch, food is good, service is great but above all the decoration and the ambiance is just top notch, it might not be the best food in Morocco, but as for the overall experience, it's definitely up there.

Everything on the menu is never available!!!! Literally everything, and they would never give you heads up and only tells you when you spent quite a while on the menu and disappoint you at the worst moment. I want to curse every time. And worst thing is that their service is extremely SLOW. No one is around when in need.... More

Dear Chong H, Thank you very much for your comment. We always take into consideration both positive and negative reviews. At Sqala, we value the quality of produce we use in our kitchen, thus we don't store frozen goods and sometimes we run out of supplies especially during festivities. We hope that you will enjoy your meal during your next... More
