How is Cafe Arabe rated?

My title says it all. Out of all the roof tops we went to in the Medina I think think this was the best. The seating was comfy, nice decor, varied menu, cool air con spray as it gets hot on the roof tops. Would...recommendMore

Poor service and poor food

We visited this restaurant and were seated in the terrace. Whether there were insufficient waiting staff or not, I don’t know. However, we had to ask for olives where all other tables had them. Our wine wasn’t opened and we had to call a waiter...for that too. Our main was delivered at the same time as the starter and then taken away and left to keep warm - this was a seafood pizza. The seafood pizza had low quality seafood and was generally poor. Couldn’t leave quickly enough.More

Food poisoning

Lovely views and nice atmosphere only to be spoiled by the slowest ever service topped up with food poisoning from the chicken tagine. What a shame.

Rezeption

We were often in this beautiful restaurant during Corona with very nice and courteous service. In March there was a new staff at the reception and from then on there were only problems. We were treated in an unfriendly and condescending manner and cheekily told...why we hadn't made a reservation. We made a reservation in person for the last evening on 23.5. 22 and what happened, the reservation didn't work out. The gentleman was really cheeky towards us and unprofessional and sent us away loudly in front of other guests. Such a gentleman should not be allowed to work there. It's a pity for all the other employees who work there and make an effort. Tom und EveMore

the best in marrakech?

We had the best time, have been coming here for days now during our vacation. Yaya and Nordine have been the most accommodating and best waiters you could ask for. Always friendly and always there to help whenever you need something, always knowing the right...thing to say or do. The food is spectacular as well as the customer service and it has to be the best all around restaurant and cafe in Marrakech that we have been too. Thank you for the incredible service and food!More

A nice way to spend a hot evening

I thought the food and atmosphere was excellent. I had the Italian linguine seafood and it was very nice. One of the few residents that serve alcohol, the wine is well priced and good although the alcohol free drinks are supreme as well. The terrace...has great views, although it was hot there was a nice breezeMore

Disappointed

First night we ate there was fantastic, decided to go back the next night as food was amazing unfortunately one of the waiters was quite rude on the second visit as we arrived at 21:45 and was surprised we wanted to eat! Completely put me...off and left not sue why he had a problem.. maybe because we could afford a second visit? And didn't like that as I assume wages aren't the same as in Europe, I even left a good tip the first time round. Would have been five stars, however second visit oneMore
