Had a wonderful experience here with my partner in early October, the restaurant itself is beautiful and charming, and the service was terrific. The food and wine selection was excellent with some lovely local Moroccan wines to accompany the delicious food. The atmosphere was busy and bustling which we enjoyed. I would really like to highlight the service, although it... More

Great food, ambience and service in this classy restaurant. Either go fresh Italian fare or traditional Moroccan dining. Our table sampled both - they were equally delicious. House cocktail to start (gratis), along with an amuse bouche. Unhurried evening and lovely attentive staff. High recommended a visit. It is also easy enough to find and, if you can't, you simply... After the seemingly never ending tagine and cous-cous, we opted for the Italian menu and enjoyed the meal. The prices for quality, including the wine, would not have been out of place in Europe but seemed a bit expensive for the location. We booked online and had no issues with seating or service. The staff was attentive and accommodating, including... More

We've booked it based on recommendations and we were not disappointed. Restaurant location in Medina makes you walk small streets , but all is wee described and signs guide you there. Interior really beautiful , multiple rooms. We were in November and place was warm / heated. Staff friendly and speaking multiple languages. We ordered salmon and local tajine. Salmon... More

Pepe Nero is very well signposted from the Jemaa el fna. It would be very difficult to find otherwise. The Pepe Nero is a beautiful oasis in an unremarkable area of the city. We felt very safe walking to and from the restaurant by ourselves. We sat on a table that had a little fountain built into an alcove in... More

Alot of places we went were hugely overrated and, to be honest, we were worried that it would be the same with Pepe Nero... NOT SO! What a great meal! What gorgeous staff who fixed the most minor of oversights with the most perfect of solutions (free cocktails and deserts after our first round of drinks were a disappointment). The... More

Description
PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
