We shared a traditional tajine and veggie couscous and were stuffed by the end of it and at £8 (100 mad) including a bottle of water you can't complain. The space is cosy and quirky and the service is great, if you don't want the bread just send it it back.

Traditional Moroccan food, slightly cheaper than other places nearby, but with similar quality. Pros: cheap, fresh food, veggie options, nice staff, location. Cons: they display tables outside, and if someone is smoking, the smoke and smell can easy penetrate the place. This doesn't happen in other places were the terrace is upstairs instead of in front of the building. Recommended... More

Just visited this chic, funky cafe. We were served by Simon a lovely and polite young man. We were given complimentary olives before our meal, my husband had the chicken and fruit tagine and I had the chicken cous cous, both dishes were absolutely delicious. We washed this down with a fanta citron. Simon then brought us a pot of... More

Nice food and great service - good value for money! The cafe has unique interior design and the atmosphere is lovely there. Very fresh, cheap paninis and good portions of salads. It has perfect location, just couple minutes away from Jemaa el Fna Square. I would highly recommend Bakchich Cafe as a great place to eat!

Our family of three ate here twice during a recent trip to Marrakech. We tried most of the tangines--all excellent--my favourite: the chicken with preserved lemons and olives. Salads were huge. Always served with fresh Moroccan bread. It's a small place, close to the heart of the Medina, yet away from the insanity. Funky decor, cute outdoor tables, pleasant enough... More

We had our first Moroccan meal at Bakchich Cafe and their meals set the standard for the city. Meals were good, as were the prices. Worth trying it, its a safe bet.

The food was very nice, the café itself is very quirky, the décor is very nice. The wait for the food was a bit long, other than that everything was great.

We had great family lunch there. It is very close to the Jema square and away from the tourists. Price is very affordable and food excellent. Place is small and authentic. I definitely recommend going there !

Very good! Try the avocado salad it is amazing! They probably should have a bit more variety but it is still very good! We went twice while in Marrakesh! And the staff is great!
