My family and I enjoyed assembling a traditional lamb tagine, and using bellows to stoke the traditional coal fire that it cooked upon. I appreciate being able to watch the other groups assemble their meals, especially the pastilla! Do not hesitate to take children here....More

Our family had a great experience with Amal Cooking School - we made tagines and a pastilla, The time flowed nicely, the location and facility were lovely and the women were wonderful to work with. The food was delicious!

Our group of three had a wonderful time at the Amal cooking class - the instructors were great, we learned a lot, made some delicious food, and had an overall great experience. Highly recommended as a Marrakesh activity!

Hello, Sorry for the late response. We are open for both cooking classes and Iftars during Ramadan. We do cooking classes in our Targa center. We serve Iftars at 19:00 in our Gueliz Center. Thank you for asking! H

Description
The Amal Women's Training Center and Moroccan Restaurant is a non-profit association dedicated to empowering disadvantaged women via training in traditional and modern cuisine. The ultimate goal is personal transformation, skill set re-enforcement, and job placement for economic and social stability. At our second center in the Targa neighborhood, we offer cooking class in traditional Moroccan dishes such as tajines, couscous, and pastilla.
