Ok. I have to admit that all we had for supper were the delicious pastries from Jawda( we had a large lunch!). Fantastic walnut torte and strawberry custard tart. Almond filled pastries are to die for. We had four delicious pastries and it cost us 27 d. That would cost us about $18 in Canada for the same. To find... More

Great oriental cakes and smoothies. Pretty cheap place, if I rememeber well, traditional cakes are about 130-160 dirhams a kilo. A few tables to sit inside, but take away also available. It was always busy when I went there.

Amazing cakes at amazing prices. So delicious that it was impossible not to try every cake. Everything was fresh and the presentation was lovely. Gets very busy as it is a small place, but it was worth the wait. They make everything from french cream cakes to morrocan specialities. Was totally lovely.

This was probably our most frequented place in Marrakech, luckily it was near our riad. And we had breakfast/snacks here daily. Tried much of what is on offer loved it all. Must try are the pigeon pastilla, custard slice, avocado and date smoothie and papaya smoothie. Everything is just delectable and very cheap! Staff are incredibly sweet and helpful.

Dont miss this perfect place quite near to Jemaa el Fna (the big square) for having one of moroccos typical shakes such as "jus d'avocat" (fantastic creamy avocado milkshake), or "panache" (mix of fresh fruits with milk or fresh orange juice). Try moroccos traditional yoghurt "raib" pure or with fruit salad. Taste the delicious almond cake "tarte aux amandes" or... More

Everything is fresh, the desserts, the biscuits, the cakes and the taste is spot on. I even brought back some biscuits for my colleagues and they loved it. An all reasonably priced, too. Enjoy, readers - and forget about calories for the moment. It is always busy and you may have wiggle your way to the counter but it is... More

Great pasteries, best of Marrakech! desserts in most restaurants are limited but if you walk by this place you are in luck. Lot's of choice, the place is clean, the food is cooled, it's cheap and the taste is just wonderfull. What more can you wish for. Really recommend it and it is only a minute from the big square.

On our way back to our Riad in Marrakesh we were looking for a place to have dessert after a great meal at the Taj'in Darna restaurant on the Jamaa El Fna square. We passed several but they didn't seem to be doing business. Then we passed the Al Jawda and it was very busy so we stopped there. It... More
