I'm a very fair and honest reviewer, so when I say you NEED to check this place out, then please do! One of the best nights i've had because of some of the best entertainment i've come across and the best DJ's. I think there...was a guest DJ on the night we went and he did not disappoint! Yes, the belly dancers came right up to your face but who cares?! That's where all the fun is.. They had a live band, drummer, an acrobat, great singers & amazing belly dancers. My husband and I were sat directly in front of where the entertainment begins which is located upstairs opposite the DJ booth. I highly recommend you book a table requesting for the same spot as that's where all the entertainment is and the best seat in the house! In our reservation I mentioned me and my husband were celebrating our birthdays and the staff at Comptoir Darna made us feel really special. They came out with 2 birthday cakes with candles and sang us a song followed by a rose. They really made us feel welcomed. Also, the service was super fast and attentive despite the entire place fully booked! It was heaving with people. So the food.... not very great. It was below average and i'm a foodie at heart BUT in saying that, the food can be put to one side because the entertainment made up for it. Believe me!! You must pay them a visit even if it's for drinks! Entertainment starts at 10pm and finishes 11.30pm so be sure to grab a table and definitely book in advance. After one week trip in Morocco, we had our last dinner of the holiday at Comptoir Darna following many recommendations of friends. Everything was perfect from booking till food and ambiance. We have also celebrated a birthday, and all our requests were taken good care...of! The length of the oriental show is just right and it is very nice and authentic. The resident DJ Klid and the guest DJ at our night were both great. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Definitely a must while in Marrakech.More

Well what an entrance when you walk into this eye opening, softly lit restaurant which when you pass through the main door you are greeted by a huge staircase that welcomes diners upstairs. The food at this elegant restaurant was super with the highlight being...the belly dancers that entertain the guests with their skill and charm. The live music performance was brilliant as the musicians sit on the staircase and who add a quality to the evening very reminiscent of old Marrakesh. Great evening had.More

A restaurant and disco. Yes sounds terrible but it was awesome. Said to have the best Lamb shoulder in Marrakech and while my sample size is small it’s be hard to beat. A 180 degrees different from the often chaotic souks. Here everyone is dressed...to the nines. Feels quite the expat scene. Food is excellent Great cocktails. Then belly dancers parade through the restaurant and as the evening progresses it becomes a dance club. Not a huge fan of tobacco filled houkahs or house music but a super fun night. Worth it and a great adventure.More
