This is an oasis in the middle of a huzzle buzzle town. We thoroughly enjoyed the table in one of the niches as it was rather fresh out in the open at this time of the year. The food was good, especially the starter: maroccan...More

Nice souk area selling range of spices; I expected it to be a bit more food-market-esque with lots of fragrances around and locals doing their shopping, but it felt slightly more tourist focused, especially the prices. Planned to buy saffron, Ras el hanout, cinnamon, verbena...More

Came here with my boyfriend to eat dinner, we sat on the roof terrace which was very nice. Food was good, I had the kefta with eggs. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, plus points for accepting credit cards!

View is great, service is good and food is up to par! Veggie options not the best but I would recommend the vegetarian sandwich. Would come here again!

Loved this cafe in the busy Place des Epices. Delicious food and great place to sit and watch all the activity in this beautiful busy square.

Café des Epices, Nomad and Le jardin are part of the same group. Probably Café des Epices is the most popular but not the best one.

I recently returned, yet again, to Cafe des Epices and it wasn’t quite the perfect experience this time, although the food was excellent. I had the vegetarian sandwiches, my usual choice when I’m here, and they were freshly prepared and definitely worth five stars. However,...More

In the heart of the Medina and Souks of Marrakech lies the Rahba Kedima spice square, where old women gather to pound henna for traditional tattoos and sell hand knitted hats, while seasoned vendors run the surrounding spice stores. Within this setting is the now famed Cafe des Epices, the perfect meeting place and rest stop from the heat and commotion of the souks. The inexpensive menu is focused on the simple and fresh, offering teas and coffee, freshly made juices, sandwiches, salads and crepes. The design is correspondingly simple: deliberately paired down and basic in order to offer a peaceful resting place after the visual overload of the Souks. Built over 3 floors, the top terrace offers great views over the square and surrounding Medina, the non-smoking 2nd floor salon is a great place to lounge and the ground floor and outdoor tables are fantastic places from which to watch the colourful comings and goings of the spice square market. Open daily from 9am to 11pm
