Typical Moroccan food with very good service but no real ambiance besides the 4 musicians in the background.

We were looking for a place to eat on a Friday, which is normally a day of rest for most muslim countries, so almost nothing was open (it was also raining heavily so even half of the medina was closed). We were recommended to here by a local at another restaurant that had just closed around 1pm. You walk into... More

We decided to got to Hamadi as I musicians would entertain my 16 month old granddaughter and they did. Beautiful comfortable Moroccan palace decor. Superb salad, bread, olives, harira, tagines - great service - will not leave it another 20 years before I go back.

I came here expecting a lovely marrocan meal but after waiting 35 minutes I decided to Leave as the waiter and owner seemed to prefer flirting with a party of women and as it was early there were only about 4 parties here anyway they persuaded me to stay and I ordered chicken and lemon Tagine, well when it came... My wife and I ended up eating here twice during our four-night stay in Tangier. Our hotel recommended it, but only in the evening, as it is often invaded by tour groups during lunch. Our experience was fine, however. The first evening we ordered a Moroccan salad (lightly roasted red and green peppers with chopped red onion, with olive oil)... More

Our hotel recommended this place & we had to say we went to Kasbah! It was beautiful & decorated beautifully. There was a band playing as well. The waiter was very nice & the service was great. Our meal was excellent but too big & we were stuffed. Compared to prices everywhere else this place was definitely overpriced. But we... More

The restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel owner as one of the best places to have a "pastilla" - a must try, if you don't know this Moroccan dish yet. The decor and atmosphere are very nice. A band plays traditional Moroccan music. Some of the tourists stood up and started dancing with one of the waiters. A... More

Just delicious. Everything we ate was spot on. Service, warm and professional. Loved the live music and the authentic Moroccan decor - complete with sitting on cushions. Couscous was among the best I've eaten, lamb - super tender, grilled chicken - perfect! I could go on and on, but just go and experience it for yourself!

Was recommended this restaurant for dinner by fellow travelers and was not disappointed. Staff was helpful and attentive. Food was plentiful and delicious (the Pastille was amazing!) The entertainment provided was the real icing on the cake especially for the young kids. Touristy for sure, but the only place we found in Tangier like this so very worth it. And... More
