Following trip advisor reco I ended up at Chez Slah. Very warm welcome in this house ... you feel almost like at home. Very fresh seafood products like dorada or calamares... delicious. Good menu, great fresh food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Was staying at a nearby hotel and came here for dinner. The food and service was very good. The price was reasonable and the overall experience was good. However it is not ideal for a single person dinning alone but I found that in a lot of places in Tunis for dinner. Also either turn up early (I did) or... More

I ate here two times during my business trip. The seafood is one of the best available in Tunis, in a small and cozy spot with superb service. Be sure to try the mussels, calamari and shrimp...and several good fish options. And the dessert, fresh berries with homemade cream, to die for!

Firstly, when finding the restaurant don't trust Google Maps. The restaurant has a tall white concrete frontage with a lit sign that is turned on around 7.00pm. Opposite is a small single person hut with a nice man keeping watch. The street is correct but the restaurant is actually on the western side of the street between Rue Garibaldi and... More

An old-school restaurant on a quiet side street in central Tunis, Chez Slah serves fresh and simply prepared seafood that is outstanding. Both the grilled squid and the sea bream were wonderful. Very drinkable Tunisian rose wines are on offer and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. A great spot.

The fresh grilled squid and grilled sea bream, red mullet are perfectly done. Lovely Tunisian Rosé to accompany the food. Try the Bric - it was the best we had in Tunis. Did not try dessert as was too full so please note the helpings are generous. The ambience is charming, old fashioned. The owner is clearly very engaged and... More

The food was at best tasteless, most oftem graissy and disguting. Charmless dining room. unfriendly service on top.

Good location next to main public buildings. Very good food quality. Try anything fish on the menu. For desert, try the strawberries with the whipped cream.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Tunis. Good service with kind and helpful staff. Food is pretty good, fresh fish and vegetables are always available. I would recommend it to anybody visiting Tunis.
