Firstly, when finding the restaurant don't trust Google Maps. The restaurant has a tall white concrete frontage with a lit sign that is turned on around 7.00pm. Opposite is a small single person hut with a nice man keeping watch. The street is correct but the restaurant is actually on the western side of the street between Rue Garibaldi and... More

An old-school restaurant on a quiet side street in central Tunis, Chez Slah serves fresh and simply prepared seafood that is outstanding. Both the grilled squid and the sea bream were wonderful. Very drinkable Tunisian rose wines are on offer and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. A great spot.

The fresh grilled squid and grilled sea bream, red mullet are perfectly done. Lovely Tunisian Rosé to accompany the food. Try the Bric - it was the best we had in Tunis. Did not try dessert as was too full so please note the helpings are generous. The ambience is charming, old fashioned. The owner is clearly very engaged and... More

The food was at best tasteless, most oftem graissy and disguting. Charmless dining room. unfriendly service on top.

Good location next to main public buildings. Very good food quality. Try anything fish on the menu. For desert, try the strawberries with the whipped cream.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Tunis. Good service with kind and helpful staff. Food is pretty good, fresh fish and vegetables are always available. I would recommend it to anybody visiting Tunis.

Chez Slah is a lovely traditional fish restaurant and a sanctuary from the bustle and heat of Tunis streets. The food is excellent. As we visited on Republic Day, a national holiday, there was only a limited menu. Nonetheless we had a first class meal thanks to the expert guidance of our server. The service is attentive and professional -... More

Very nice place for Ramadan Iftar; a large selection of local dishes cooked to perfection; reservation well ahead is a must especially in Ramadan (i would not advise you to choose the plate called Osbbane if you ars not used to it or do not like very strong mutton flavor)

Chez Slah is small Old restaurant in Tunis, or maybe, a door to the past. The service, the menu, and the feeling inside, will take you to 30 or 40 years ago. And pay attention! This is good, actually good! The ambiance is cozy and wellcoming. The staff is old school. The menu is classical and focused despite not explicitely, in... More

Loved the food although the service was a bit poker faced 😐 if you are a seafood lover this is the place ... Very intimate atmosphere but gets really busing late at nights so your required to book first although we got a table (our luck 😁)
