Great coffee experience. However, I would have loved if they had more options, pastry and also comfortable seats to be able to read/work from there.

If you want to make your day with the best coffee in town, Tomoca is the place you should visit. I am a regular visitor to the coffee house and I always get my preferred flavor...

Authentic old coffee bar. Pay at the counter as you enter and give your chit to the barista at the back - can get all coffee variations but suggest black - strong rich and creamy - packs a caffeine punch and is delicious. It's standing...More

I read in several pages that Tomoca was a place not to miss when in Ethiopia. Luckily we had a local to take us around Addis and our last stop was at Tomoca Coffee. I am a coffee drinker and I can say that here...More

The original Tomoca in Piazza is an amazing, old-fashioned coffee shop where you can buy coffee by the kg or just drink a cup of freshly-brewd Ethiopian coffee with older men discussing the news. A lot of character!

There are many great places to have coffee in Addis, but Tomoca is one of my favorites when it comes to more modern coffee joints. It's not as westernized as Kaldis but maintains a nice mix of Ethiopian and western coffee traditions. Not a big...More

Love the creamy, strong and distinct taste of tomoca's coffee. Their business model is probably the most unique and successful in the country. Love the Italian style format of their coffeeshops (no seats, just standing table) and wouldn't recommend anywhere else to drink coffee in...More

Well when you taste this coffee you find out that you haven't been drinking coffee all your life. Try the traditional coffee (bunna). The waiting time is a little long but it worth it. I rated 4 for the waiting time.

Great place to visit to pick up coffee for a gift. I usually pick up a couple of kilograms prior to traveling.

I just love this place, it is as busy as a cafe in Milano or Roma but of course with the excellent TOMOCA coffee. The atmosphere is so great I could hang out there for hours. Don't miss that out if you are in Addis!

Tomoca sells roasted whole beans at the original shop in town and at their shop in the Radisson Blu hotel. I don't think they sell green coffee beans, just 2 or 3 types of roasted beans.
