A lovely peaceful setting with lots of character. The food was very tasty, although our prawn cocktail was a bit lacking in prawns and the wine, with the exception of the South African house red (which was very good), was expensive.

I had a delicious avocado BLT on a really nice pita. Not at all what I expected, but in a positive way. They had an interesting menu and it was a beautiful garden setting.

Visited the Emin Pasha hotel for dinner at their Fez Brasserie. Food was great. The garden setting is intimate and very peaceful and relaxing. This is a great place for dinner, or lunch. We really enjoyed going here. Well worth a visit.

Emin Pasha is a little Oasis in Kampala. The hotel/restaurant overlooks beautifully kept grounds, very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are well trained and the service is the highest level that we experienced in Uganda. The food was very good with a mix of European and local dishes to choose from. Plenty of wine to choose from, also by the glass(only... More

When in Kampala this is one of my main spots. The staff are lovely people. They have comfy sofas downstairs. Their beef steak with a delish red wine jus along with their South African wine is my favourite dinner outing experiences. It is just a nice place. Day time too, great wifi available. Recently I organised a private dinner. We... More

This place is wonderful. Excellent and creative menu. Serene setting and features a rotating exhibit of local artists. I lived in Kampala for a couple of years and this was one of my favorite in the city to get away from the city. Also really great for relaxing after a long trip back to K'la from upcountry.

I've dined here repeatedly with small groups and I'm always pleased. Nice ambiance, interesting menu with well-prepared and sometimes interesting choices, and a fairly decent selection of wines. The service is reliable and the prices, though a tad high, are reasonable for the setting and service.

Stayed and ate here. Breakfast choices excellent Eggs Benedict on Roesti inspired. Fresh fruit juice yummy. Lunch pea soup good but not so sure about fish soup at supper. Steak brilliant however. Will come back again and again...service can be slow but always with a smile
