Head Chef & Owner, Jamey Townsend, follows the modern trend of 'sloe food' where all ingredients are sourced locally within Zambia, or grown organically in his own garden wherever possible. Our methodology ensures fresh seasonal produce that is grown & farmed in a sustainable & humane manner. No pre-processed, canned or tinned produce is used so everything that comes out of the kitchen is 100% traceable to its roots. Ingredients that can not be produced in Zambia such as spices are obtained from local farmers markets. We guarantee that only the highest quality ingredients are used in our cuisine. The menu has a European theme including specials that change on a weekly basis; and new dishes with every new season.

This is a small bistro with delicious food. On a Tuesday night we were the only ones in the place for our entire dinner. Inexpensive; we each had an entree and we shared a bottle of wine for $40 total. I had the fish with...More
Have eaten at this restaurant a few times when in Lusaka working. I cannot believe it is not yet showing #1 place to eat in Lusaka. Fillet steak to die for, hand cut chips, freshly made sauces. If you haven't tried the Four Seasons Bistro...More
Returned for two consecutive nights, food was great, well priced and big portions. Drinks also really well priced. Not entirely convinced that the rib eye steak was actually a rib eye but the fillet was superb.
Four Seasons Bistro is one of those little gems you either know about, or you live a poorer live. We had the most delicious dinner a couple of nights ago. Delicious dishes like duck breast is a welcome surprise in Lusaka.

Thank you for your kind review. We are always on the look out for new and interesting ingredients. We look forward to seeing you again.
Attached to the city lodge, the Four seasons is run by Jamie Townesend. An innovative menu with daily changes makes this place worth the while. The Goat shank and the lamb hot pot are absolutely stunning as are the steaks.

Dear diner, I would like to apologize for you not being able to get a table in a restaurant on a Friday night without a reservation.

Wonderful and delicious food cooked by a master chef contestant; the best and most healthy we've tasted in Lusaka. Lovely service too. Can't understand why it's not over booked every night. Great wines too and very modest prices for the quality. Thoroughly recommend.

Thank you for your visit and your kind words, we look forward to having you again.
Not wanting a big lunch we ordered a range of starters - fish cakes were delicious and cooked to perfection, humus and pita tasty, halloumi with a dash of syrup a pleasant difference to the norm and the chips were golden and crispy! Only disappointment...More
