There are 2 Zombala's, and I went to Zombala 2. I believe they are the same. Zombala 2 is easy to find and on circle intersection on Norzin Lam. Service is quick, and they are generous in their servings. I had the veg-cheese momo (average), mushroom soup (below par) and the Ting Ming mushroom with spring onions (which I found... More

Had been to this place yesterday, its centrally located 5 mins walk on Phandey Lam. Very near to the Thimphu Tower. Its a small restaurant ran by a family and servings are quite delicious. We had ordered beef and veg chow mein and beef bhaktup. The servings were good in quantity and quality 😊 The place is pretty neat and... More

Went here on a complete whim, based on the TripAdvisor reviews. Was thoroughly happy about it. The momos are to die for......Service is quick and like everywhere else in Bhutan, with a smile. Do go eat there if you do not have a problem with red meats.

We had chinese and bhutanese cuisines and the food was very tasty. The host is friendly and hosted us despite us reaching very late at night.

The best momos I've ever had!! It's not at all expensive and you can easily hog up to 2 plates of momos at one time! During our trip, we used to go to Zombala everyday!! One of the best things about Thimphu for sure!!

This review is for Zombala2. We were looking for places to eat neat the Memorial Chorten and this one is 10 mins walk from there. The lip-smacking dishes are straight from often heaven. This place is a a paradise for pork and other meat loves as my husband gorged on some spicy Bhutanese dishes like Sikkam Datshi, Pork ribs etc.... More

We had the cheeses and the beef momos, spicy fried rice, and the ema datshi. All was great! Service was also very courteous and friendly. And not at all expensive.

Small place in the main market of Thimpu, very close to the clock tower. Serves very good authentic Bhutanese food which has decent VEGETARIAN options. ambience is very ok but the food is very tasty.

We started hunting for Momos since our first day in Thimpu finally stumblef upon Zombala. Since it was lunch time the place was crowded with locals but the food was well worth the wait. We had Momos and Fried rice. Highly recommended for Momo fans..
