Be prepared for fire meal, typical Bhutanese meals are very spicy and I had upset stomach after the Bhutanese Menu, sorry but folks need to be ready and be prepared.

This restaurant made our day special. It was empty when we went but the servers were very active and served us with a warm smile. The dishes were served within 15 mins and the quantity was huge. Our server Mr. Chedup introduced all the dishes to us. The seating arrangement too is very special. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic... More

If you would like to try the local, then this is the place. Very delicious especially the chicken. We tried red rice, chilly cheese, chicken, vegetables..It was all very well cooked and the taste stays in my mouth even now when I think about it.

This is the best place to try out Bhutanese authentic food. The are mindful about taste of food that visitor would prefer. This is the third time I visited this place. And nothing has changed much. Note: try out lunch , prefer ala carte.

I eat at this restaurant every time I visit Bhutan and have been doing so ever since it opened. The group of students I was leading this visit went along one night at my suggestion and were very happy with the meal and service they received.

This is one place you will get authentic Bhutanese food. Both the food & service are good. I certainly would recommend this.

I opted for their buffet lunch, which, at 450/-, is not really worth it. Two Bhutanese specialities, Ema Datshi and the Fried Cheese were the only redeeming features. They should take more care when cleaning the cabbage - don't really appreciate grubs in my salad. Someone should also keep watch on the buffet table, and replenish the food quickly. Ambience... In the Australian vernacular we'd say this place is taking the mickey. We were taken here for lunch twice. While it is true that it does serve authentic Bhutanese food it is also true that this is not to the taste of most Westerners, with the result that although we are happy to try it we're not going to fill... We visited here for dinner as a group of four, the dinner served at our hotel the previous night was below expectations and our tour guide transferred dinner here. Food was good and matched by good service. It was not served buffet style as stated in previous posts, but since we were the only diners here that would be expected.... More
