This is one place you will get authentic Bhutanese food. Both the food & service are good. I certainly would recommend this.

I opted for their buffet lunch, which, at 450/-, is not really worth it. Two Bhutanese specialities, Ema Datshi and the Fried Cheese were the only redeeming features. They should take more care when cleaning the cabbage - don't really appreciate grubs in my salad. Someone should also keep watch on the buffet table, and replenish the food quickly. Ambience... In the Australian vernacular we'd say this place is taking the mickey. We were taken here for lunch twice. While it is true that it does serve authentic Bhutanese food it is also true that this is not to the taste of most Westerners, with the result that although we are happy to try it we're not going to fill... We visited here for dinner as a group of four, the dinner served at our hotel the previous night was below expectations and our tour guide transferred dinner here. Food was good and matched by good service. It was not served buffet style as stated in previous posts, but since we were the only diners here that would be expected.... More

The restaurant is located on 2nd floor . Food is simple with buffet style spread but a good place to eat with great location just in front of the stadium.

We were four of us visiting here for lunch. The available lunch was buffet type. Since we were vegetarians, we enquiries the options available, though menu seemed good enough the serving showed very few varieties and also the portions were less and we had to ask for curry many times before serving. The cost is also not worth, so better... More

Aesthetically done, with traditional seating, this place offers fresh local dishes, we enjoyed the chillies and cheese, with local red rice, the sautéed cabbage, chicken with corn rice, potato and cheese, good place to experience the local flavour

Recently gone there for lunch inspite of having knowledge limited fixed option. While the food was quite simple what annoyed us is the loitering cats inside the restaurant and the cotton napkin provided by them is full of CAT hairs.

Bhutan Kitchen is excellent place to get familiar with local food. This place offer buffet system with per plate cost of Rs 450 approx. It is pricey, but you can definitely afford to eat once. During my stay for three days, I found BT is the only authentic place to taste local food. Most other places offer Indian or Chinese... More

The vegetarian spread is a bit limited, but the food was delicious and the ambiance was classy. You can get similar tasting food in neighboring restaurants, but it's a good one-time experience. 500 inr for buffet
