I've been to Hot Bread several times for coffee and some doughnuts and croissants. It was delicious, clean and they provide good service. Also they have packing service for takeaway.

Review for CURRY KITCHEN we didn't try the bakery below. Really good food (veg and non veg), central Thamel location, outside rooftop and friendly staff. Well priced and located. A fun, casual place to eat well before heading out for the evening.

I found the most unfriendly staff kin the whole of Kathmandu, do I get a medal? It's surrounded by hotels and gift shops in the travelers centre of thamel. So I did not expect great food nor a cheap price. I did expect friendly staff. They weren't just having a bad day. Because our hotel was so close I visited... More

Went to this place on the recommendation of a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I sat on a table oberlooking the street and was immediately given a menu and I ordered a drink. Once my foodorder was taken my meal arrived fairly quickly. I had 2 mains, the Daal and the gobi aloo with naan bread. Both came quickly and... More

The Hot Bread if a good place to grab a bit if you talk about the location but the food is more or less average.

We stopped in to grab a few pastries for dessert later tonight and upon checking out, my boyfriend and I were in the middle of speaking to each other and one of the guys tapped on the counter to get my attention to pay. I definitely don't appreciate the rudeness. Then they hassled me for smaller bills, meanwhile they have... More

Whenever we are in Kathmandu, we always make a visit to Hot Bread in Thamel. After a wander around the shops there is nothing better than sitting on the rooftop with a strawberry tart( which are so yummy) and a coffee. Here we can relax and watch the entertaining street life of Thamel from a safe distance. Great....

I often come here for the chocolate or cheese crossiants. Mostly I do take aways but sometimes I would order coffee too and eat upstairs on the rooftop. It is one of my favourite hang-out places in Thamel.

I visited Hot Bread again on this trip and it was not as goof as last year. The bread was stale and barely edible. The cream cheese was spread with great skill; how the waiter achieved such a uniformly thin layer would impress a graphene scientist. On a more positive note, the cakes were fresh, light and tasty and there... More

This place looked so good from outside and we were tempted to go in. However we had the worst experience in out life. We took a doughnut and asked the cashier to heat it for just 15 seconds. The guy who was busy in collecting money from other customers has forgotten and heated it for over a minute. When we... More
