Eat at this tiny, lovely restaurant which is a bit hard to find but definitely worth every penny. And on top of the amazing food and service, you're supporting the local community such as schools. So go here and be careful not to order too much momo 😂

We stopped in here almost by accident -- looking for something quick and casual. The restaurant was clean and has the bonus of being 'socially aware' with (they say) proceeds from the restaurant funding education and health programs. This is is the best place for everything. It has quality foods and finest service. You can run small seminars because it is fully multimedia enabled restaurant. You can surf in really high speed internet. Lastly if you wish to have little cheerful smile on the face of village students with your small deeds then visit this restaurant.

A small restaurant prroviding cheap and delicious food, free Wifi and free phone charging. Part of their takings go towards support of remote mountain villages. The lassis are scrumptious too.

I frequently visited Mahabir's while in Kathmandu. If you are staying in Thamel, it's a close and quiet space to use wifi and save money on food. Their chai is good, the hot chocolate is great, and if you want a snack, the cheese parantha is fantastic. The taxes are all included in the prices and they partner with a... More

A good venue to have some local food, conveniently located at the 1st floor within the pedestrian Mandala Street, I was there a couple of times, trying the tasty tomato soup (reasonably salty), and both versions of the traditional momos, chicken and buff, both more than decent. Service quick, environment relaxed, quite modestly priced, the fact that they fund schools... More
