Most expencive too. But totally worth it! Reserve a table is a good idea. Skip the starters, just go for the steaks. They provide 4 different types of salt, try them all.

I took my wife to ACut upon a friend's recommendation, and we were not disappointed. The starters, main course, and dessert were all wonderfully presented and delicious. The servers were attentive and polite and try to anticipate your needs before you need it (with water, drinks, cutlery, plate changing, etc). The meat, ahh, the meat is what steakhouses are all... A friend organized a tasting event when I visited Taipei this June. It was such an unforgetable experience. A-Cut has earned best wine list in town from the Wine Spectator. Seeing is believing. It is indeed of wine list and choice of selections from all regions around the globe.

we didn't plan to eat here, but just walked in since we stayed in the hotel where the restaurant is located. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you like steak, and not just a steak, one of the best steaks imaginable. The restaurant is star-worthy, but so is the price level. The rest of the menu, the service... More

I go to Taipei often.. and for steaks, this is the place to go.. Ok, so forget the price for a second.. and just think about the steak quality.. Its just fantastic.. to the point that i went into the kitchen the second time (i went to culinary school part time) to figure out where they sourced their steak.. The... More

Very good steak, very well presented, but the lighting is so dim it's quite difficult to see it. Bottle of red wine was served so cold it was as if it came from the fridge, but was changed on request.Expensive.

we went on a sunday evening around 9 pm, and we were the last people to get served. But having said that, it was by far the best steak you could ever have. It was quite expensive, but personally think it was worth it (expect to spend about 250$ a head if you go for a prime cut). The staff were... More

Thought I am a lover of local Taiwanese food, during a long stay, it is nice to get a taste of home. The steaks were excellent, perfectly cooked and of quality cut. I personally love the presentation style of bringing the steak in a small roasting pan, this is on par with many high end steak restaurants in the US... More

If you're looking for steaks in Taipei (http://www.amcham.com.tw/content/view/1099/357/) this must be on your list! The respectable selection of steaks, wine and experience has spawned cheesy clones like 168 Prime, in a fashion Taiwan is renowned for. But for the price, I recommend playing it safe and sticking to A Cut for the good food, impeccable service and wonderful ambience. For... More
